    I'm hoping they really look at Xiaoyu's Cr. HK some more. It really needs a larger hitbox or some sort of air-crush property because it often trades or outright loses to a large percentage of jump-ins in the game. Her cr. HK cannot be used like a traditional sweep either. So for all intents and purposes it's an anti-air ONLY. Please make it work reliably like one.

    She's far from broken. There's a reason why I'm one of the only Xiaoyu players who uses her as a point character instead of anchor. Her normals are downright slow, her best footsie tools are 10 and 14f startups, each of them. She has no good lows either since her fastest one is a 6f startup. Her fastest and most reliable normals are st. lp and cr. lp which don't really have the greatest range but they get the job done when you're finally in. Her low footsie tools are totally garbage.

    She Struggles bigtime when she has no meter, you may not see it much now when facing me but I'm sure you remember back when I wasn't nearly as good at the game. I couldn't do a damn thing against your Vega at the start of a fight. Also Xiaoyu still lacks any kind of wake-up or reversal, Just about every other character has something they can mash to create a reversal, she doesn't. In other words Xiaoyu is totally FREE on wake-up, have fun manhandling her.

    Protip: Vega's J. Hk beats Xiaoyu's Cr. HK AA for free at max range. Still want to know how she's broken because her damage may be good but she's terrible at actually getting in there without taking casualties.

    I don't really know your PSN so I really can't say I remember how free I was. Also what team did you run?

    As for being free, it's more-so the player than the character with Xiaoyu. Her normals being so slow means you have to predict rather than react to what the opponent is doing. Once she's in she can create jab pressure similar to Cammy. The only way not to be free with Xiaoyu on wake-up is be halfway decent at blocking and knowing when to backdash. If there weren't universal tools like backdashes and raw launchers she would be a much worse off character.

    Not every character needs to excel in every area of play. This is a team game for a reason.

    Xiaoyu beats Paul for free, any character that can do that needs a nerf.

    I never wanted Xiaoyu to excel in every level of play. I was explaining to everyone here that she has several shortcomings and her specialization is her ability to anti-air and convert good damage from it. I'm perfectly okay with her having a terrible neutral game and requiring tons of meter to be somewhat decent at it. I'm even fine with her having no reversals because she needs to have some sort of weakness to be balanced.

    Makes sense to release it in 2013... Yeah I hope they fix Xiao's AA too, tired of getting stuffed out by King's j. Hp datz some ol' bulls**t.

    The game isnt exactly unplayable, so I say let them take their time. It should result in a better product this way.

    Mike Ross gave his thoughts on the patch.

    "All I’ll say is I got to play 25 games of it. Out of those 25 games there were 0 timeouts.
    This alone gives me enough hope and reason to pick the game back up when it drops."

    So instead of buying a $20 unlock code, you want to buy a $40 disk?

    Either way its the exact same content, and we already know they aren't releasing another disk.

    Its not going to happen.

    The best you can hope for is that they will start packaging the DLC code with new versions of the game, but even if that happens the cost is still going to go back to $40.
