doctorwily posted...Um without so called "whiners" like myself, the world would still be stuck in the stone age. Progress is made when people speak up about what ails them and how we can fix it. I'm not saying my video will change anything, but I AM saying that I'm not the type of person to travel around with a smile on my face if someone punches me. Many gamers are far too accepting these days of the crap thats fed to them.
Getting punched in the face =/= a slimy corporation seeking profits.
You are right though, your video won't change anything. No amount of whining or activism (over a video game! *lol* 'merica!!) will change anything... the only thing Capcom will respond to is a sharp decline in profits. Which sadly, won't happen anytime soon.

Well, bad publicity makes profits decline, and there has been much vocal outrage about SFxTK; I'm sure it prevented many people for buying the video.
But his video's nothing special. Only another whiner whining, added up to the pile. You can tell by the title. I'm pretty sure any Capcom person will skip the video just for the title.

I guess that public apology on the Capcom blog, stating that after all titles with on disc DLC are finished with development no more will feature it, releasing the DLC characters early and bundling them with the Vita version never happened.

Wow video is one giant whine fest.
Your crying about Megaman games not being on the PSN store when you own the original copies, that's just scraping the bottom of the barrel.
The two biggies are SFXT dlc and MML3 getting the axe but I guess you can't fill 9 minutes just with that.

You'd think with games like MK9, Soul Calibur 5, and TT2 allowing so much customization and so much everything else compared to what Street Fighter games include Capcom would get their s*** together

Actually, SFxTK has more customization than MK9 just with the limited color changing. I would put a numerical value on how much more customization it has, but anything x 0 = 0.

Yeah, I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel because I want Megaman games that haven't been out for years to be introduced to a new audience. I'm such a horrible person for looking past myself and wanting others to enjoy the things that I may have and they don't. Get a clue.
http://amplicate.com/hate/capcomMost people hate Capcom these days because they have become a big steaming pile of donkey crap. You know it's true and arguing your non- existing point isn't going to get you anywhere. Capcom sucks and makes countless bad decisions. Your post was ridiculous.

<- Doors over there, bro. Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out.
And that link? Its pathetic, childish crying. Its all about having to pay for DLC and lack of Mega Man games. If every company was hated for DLC and not cranking out fan favorite titles every year (its only been 2 years since Mega Man 10 FFS) then no company would have fans. Maybe fans should go hate Nintendo since there isn't a new Metroid game, Nintendo is charging for DLC, and they aren't cranking out Virtual Console releases for 3DS left and right.

I have no doubt Capcom would make more Mega Man games if Mega Man games sold better.

Or maybe you should admit that Capcom is following the standards for what other companies are doing and for no reason what so ever people like you attack them while ignoring everything going on around you. Again, Nintendo does everything Capcom does. Namco does everything Capcom does. SNK does everything Capcom does. Konami does everything Capcom does. Microsoft does everything Capcom does. Sony does everything Capcom does. Why are you singling out Capcom for not having every single old game available for digital download, not making yearly sequels to their franchises (and if they did you would be crying about rehashes and cash grabs), and using on disc DLC?
Don't say no one does on disc DLC in the quantity Capcom does, either. It will just further show how little you know about the subject.

Name one game that has more on disc dlc than Street Fighter X Tekken.
There isn't one.
Heck, even in Little Big Planet the costumes aren't on the disc.
Sorry bud. Other companies may do it, but Capcom is the WORST offender.

Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4. 87 songs. Its a classic X-Box title.

Capcom's fans are to blame, not Capcom. When you put on disc DLC in your games and fans buy it screaming "MOAR!" thats what you're going to give them.

That game does not have more DLC than Street Fighter X Tekken. There are 55 characters in SFXT if I'm not mistaken. That's 55 swap costumes. There are also 55 alternate costumes. That's 110. Then there are like 20 gem packs. That's 130. Then there are the custom combos, etc. You are looking at over 130 items as opposed to Dance Dance Revolution. Please name another game or admit that I'm right.
