you know, im trying to figure out why ryu's cr.mk is so "good". like 0 on hit and -3 on block.

I don't it actually shrinks it at all.

that's why most characters can blow through it right? even on hit....people do it all the time because they think they can get away with it. hell evne yoshi can stuff it. I don't think it can pass under projectiles though

It's a total risk to try and stuff a hadouken that might not even come out, and instead whiffing whatever you're using to try and stuff with.
But yeah, his sweep is generally better for that blockstring anyways.

You're missing the point entirely. It's a total risk to try and stuff a hadouken that might not even come out, and instead whiffing whatever you're using to try and stuff with.
But yeah, his sweep is generally better for that blockstring anyways.
risk? hadoken starts ups in 13 frames. you could jab outta that and if he wants a to HCC that then he's poked. and if he wants to block after then he's getting pressured. ive pondering this for a while now. ive been thinking "what makes it so good?"

It's such a great move because it's one of the best low hitting moves in the game, it's fast, can be cancelled into any special or super, it lowers his hitbox, etc.

Already tried to go through this with him. But his Theory Fighterfu is too stronk, so the move is ass.

A lot of medium and heavy normals are unsafe on hit, because their meant to be cancelled on hit. You're just looking into it too much.

A lot of medium and heavy normals are unsafe on hit, because their meant to be cancelled on hit. You're just looking into it too much.

Bison sucks. I love it. What's Vega's damage output like? I've only played a handful.
And charge times in general were extended from SSF4, though if Bison has a longer one, I don't know but I doubt it.

Vega's output? dunno. on bison...It seems like they take longer. I have 0 evidence to back it though. if only he wasn't a charge character...i would main him instantly.
