I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get R2 and L2 mapped to the rear touchpad.

I am very disappointed with the four battle pad zones on the front display and refuse to play this game on vita and readjust how i've been playing SF for 15 years.

I realized that zones 5 and 6 are on the back but to say that there are small zones that are also unresponsive would be an understatement.

I'm trying to map LK to the rear right and Kx3 to the rear left but it's barely serviceable in battle and only responds on occasion. Can anyone offer insight on this?

Ditch the idea of the Rear Touch Panel and use 3 and 4 on the Touch Screen instead. I have 3 and 4 set as 3P and Switch, respectively. Also, if you haven't done so yet, buy a grip for the Vita. They really make an unbelievable difference when playing fighting games on the Vita. I was ranked #1 in the world on this for the Vita. Haven't played the game in a month and I only dropped to #2, so I'm letting you know this advice is coming from someone who knows what they're talking about.

I appreciate it but the issue is that I have been playing all my life using R2 and L2 with my middle fingers now all of a sudden i'm using my thumbs on a front touch screen which i've never used in the past. This is real shame, i'll try it but it feels like (with regards to the experience i anticipated) that i wasted my money.

this should not discourage other users or mean that i regard it as a bad game but shoulder buttons on fighting game with the vita is difficult to replace.
