Thinking of buying this, persuade me?

My GT is Beserk58 if you wanna help me.
I go in between KoF and Street Fighter alot, but mainly since Capcom keeps doing screwjobs I've decided to annex and Capcom fighters on my "to buy" lists.
I recently purchased KoFXIII and love it, but no one is hardly online and the ones who are have the worst connection.
Should I just do a white flag, forgive Capcom for now, and buy this game? Money is no option, it's just should I take the time out for this game?
Could someone underline the specific core of fun in this game?

Don't get it; it is pretty damn bad. Especially the online experience with its glitchy controls and sound.
Get Tekken Tag 2 or SSFIVAE instread -- far, far better games.

Somebody stopped playing the first week. That got patched a long time ago.
TC, the game is fun if you learn to play it as its own game and not SSF4 with tag.
Rent it first to see if you like it.

Actually, I stopped playing after like ... two-three weeks. It's the worst fighter I have played in a long time, so yeah ...
The general opinion is that SFXT is bad, which is why I advise the TC not to get it.

Your comment is mind-blowingly *****ed. Perhaps you are feeble enough to label games as bad due to your lack lack of skill or knowledge, but I sure as hell am not. I won far more at this game than Tekken Tag 2 (since it is closer to SSFIVAE which I was ace at). The general consensus regarding this game is that it sucks. If you deny that you are either lying or have not been exposed to any opinions on it at all.
This nonsense of a game will be shortlived in the tournament scene and you know. Denying it won't prolong its life span.
TC, avoid it. I had faith in this game but it turned out crap. Waste of money.
And within a month or two I doubt there will be many people around playing it.
If you're into 3D fighters I can really recommend TTT2. It takes devotion, but its online is absolutely outstanding (more or less lag free). It's way too juggle heavy, but still a great game!

I remember when people said this when Skullgirls, P4A, VF5, TTT2, and DoA came out.
Guess what? People are still playing it, 8 months later.
Guess what? More and more pros are getting into it, especially with the balance changes around the corner.
Like I said, just because you suck at it, doesn't mean the game is bad, nor that it's going anywhere.

The game is pretty bad. I need not mention the DLC.
I prefer 2D fighters. I'm big into SF and MvC and I would definitely suggest those before this.
I recently got into Blazblue and would also strongly suggest it if you're up to a challenge.

Actually bought this a week ago.
Fairly pleased with it, wish the community were more vocal in scramble and tag matches. No one ever tries to get team combos.
I'll keep this game for the time being! Thanks everyone. This isn't the best, nor is it near as good, but the price tag was too low to pass.

Where did all of the SFxT supporters go? I actually really like this game!
@ Kneez: If you ever think about returning this game, I'd advise holding on to it until the Version 2013 patch comes out on January 29th. They're trying to strike a better balance among the cast (e.g. nerfing Cody, buffing Yoshimitsu, etc.) and resolve many of the system issues, like the frequency of Time Over games.

MK9 is pretty much unplayable due to it's horrible lag though. It even lags at the character select screen lol.

Don't buy it. Don't support it. Capcom is in freefall (before you guys flame me, what happens if DMC sucks as bad as RE6?). Let them hit rock bottom, fire a bunch of suits, and SF5 might have a chance of being the best fighter ever made.
Mortal Kombat and KoF had to almost die before the best games of those series got released. There's blood in the water.
