If you don't like 50-60% combos in one touch then Guilty Gear is not for you. I'm not even going to go down the list of characters that will ruin you in one touch, but Guilty Gear ISN'T catered to preserving your innocence in terms of combos. I will say this though, I hope you've been acquainted with the term "Dust Loop" cause lemme tell you, it ain't just a Forum Name. Lmao.

Okay, I wanna step in now. This game is like, 3 months old more or less. NO ONE knows how well balanced this game is. We know who's really good. We THINK we know who may be bad. But there are a ton of characters we havn't touched on yet. Take Steve for instance. He throws a cr.MP into 400+ damage midscreen with a ton of corner carry. Look at Ogre. This guy has tools for pretty much every situation and good damage and mixups to boot. There are like, 5 kuma players so who knows what stuff he may or may not have. King has some of the highest tag in damage in the game and benefits greatly from moves that launch your opponent.
I'm not calling out you specifically Wonzan, I'm calling the community out. Stop complaining about what you THINK is the problem, and start focusing on everything else. That's why I made a tier discussion thread here. That's why I frequently post in the tier discussion thread on SRK, despite me hating SRK. Thats why I made an effort to now learn characters I don't even really wanna play, so that I can learn what they can do.
I found the restand glitch for Kazuya (which means I'm partially responsible for his infinite as well). I found a 600+ 1 meter Steve tag cancel combo. I've helped out players in learning the mechanics and just overall getting better and I still do that.
What the hell have you all done? Because I don't think any of you have a right to complain about what is and isn't right in terms of gameplay until you've even taken the time to learn the damn game. Yeah, I'm mad, but only because I'm tired of hearing this crap every day.

Oh how i tried mister rayplay. I made topics for vega, nina, ibuki, hugo, gems, strategies against other chars etc. Most got 5 replies and died. Why? Because this game has bombed.

Every character can do 50% in GG as well. So unless your idea of balanced is "Get hit once and potentially get ohko'd" I think you're wrong on this one.
EX: Eddie can loop until he dizzies you and then hit with black in mind (his "Destroy" move that ohkos) and you only have two chances to get out if it's set up right: You can burst (which can be baited) or they mess up.
Slayer's bnb chews off half of anyone's life.
Millia has high/low mix ups that lead into themselves.

Don't give me that excuse! I bumped my restand glitch topic for like, two days (more or less) instead of letting it just die out. And I recall you getting proper responses in your topc and them dying due to not much left to discuss. And if your questions wearn't answered, then make the topics again then! AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Do people feel that ripped off by the DLC that it ruined the rest of what could have been enjoyable to them? It has its problems YES....but these could be addressed soon and people probably still won't be happy because they feel scorned or something?

DLC BS aside, we all have our differing views on that, but those of us who want the community to survive will make it survive. Look at the Arcana Heart community, they barely have one if at all, but they come together and they find tech and help each other out. In this community we've had more people who DO have the game get in line to b**** about everything wrong with Capcom and not to extend a hand to one another.
It was funny too, cause in the first stages of complaints, people were like " IF you want to discuss the game, you go make a topic and do it. " But you couldn't get a good discussion going to save your life about a character because everyone wanted to talk about burning Capcom down. I went and looked around, found gamers in stream channels here that have helped me as well as working with my own team to find tech and make the game more enjoyable. If people can't find ways to explore, you only have yourselves to blame - you get as much as you give in terms of a community.

This is never going to happen because neither side wants to listen to each other. Instead of continuing to target Capcom we as a community should have been looking for a way to salvage the game by making the scene thrive. Instead, every bridge to progress was burned in the targeting of Capcom. People stopped trying to put in effort to explore character options, but want to arguably call things broken or complain about 50-60% combos. I have seen people actually make profiting threads on combating the issues of online fighting by making Daily and Weekly threads exploring the "issues" we face in Ranked match, and yet you barely saw the faces doing most of the complaining in there trying to learn how to step it up. Pretty sad.
