hmm ..well if they're using SFIV combat system then..this game might turn out good..but won't short close range fighters like kazuya , lei , howrang, jin , nina be closed off by fireball users like ken & company..wouldn't that be a disadvantage for certain players who get annoyed by other players that spam the fireball technique rather then fight..but this may be an end claim ..since I don't have a problem with fireball spammers however to tekken players ..good luck with that.

I'm excited about this. I'm a huge fighting game fan even though I'm more of a MK fanboy its all good. Now if only they could mix all three together then I would have a FANGASM!!!! lmao

This game is fan service. All the years, quarters, hours and devotion fans of both games have given... this is a tribute to us. Bravo, Capcom & Namco, bravo.

Wow, a crazy idea, a good one, thats the truth, crossing Street Fighter with Tekken, Too bad I only play on the PC, oh well, but its nice to see these ideas come to life...

at least it shows that two great fighting franchises are gonna go head to head by two great people and the teams who are working on it

So the Bound system isn't dead after all? Sweet. Finding that they are making two versions of the game actually didnt come too much as a suprise for me. Its great to cater to both sides, with what most likely will be two different games. Looks like im gonna have to pop in the old T6 disk to brush up on my Lars and Steve games again, though its gonna be wierd having to dodge fireballs this time around. I gotta admit though, I had my heart ache when he never mentioned additional characters included in future updates. I really had my heart set on playing as my fav, Yun from back in the day. Ah well, this makes up for it I guess. :D

I'm really looking forward to Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter. There are going to be 2 completely different games. 2.5D and 3D. Going to be great. 2 years away... geez... can't wait at least we know this generation of consoles still has years of juice left in them

i just hope the part with tekken will come out separatelly. I definately liked the Kazuya 's combo.

@karan2shoes I bet you the 2 versions will be completely different, while Capcom will remain a 2.5D fighter and stick with their traditional joystick input for special moves, Tekken is going to be a 3D fighter and moves are combo based with lot of button pushes to string a combo. Just my guess, will look forward to Namco's effort more even tho I'm a bigger SF fan than Tekken.

Super Street Fighter IV is nothing more than Capcom's "solution" to the piracy seen in Street Fighter IV PC. Essentially, they're calling all PC gamers pirates.

As cool as this idea is I think that the new Mortal Kombat is going to be the best fighting game in the coming year.

2 versions? why not just have both version in one game? are people going to buy both? tekken all the way over SF, but mortal kombat rules supreme!

Wow what incredible news! Two versions of Street Fighter VS Tekken that is just to incredible, im in shock right now! Needless to say Capcom's version will be similar style to Street Fighter 4 while Namco's will be more combo based like the Tekken franchise. Dare i say I'm looking forward to Namco's version more!?! Just a tad more, i love SF but Tekken has slowly won me over. And SF has just recently burst back into the scene showing it still gots what it takes to be the best. All that really matters is more quality fighters are finally coming our way. Online play makes these games better then ever!

The match up might be fun to play with but it should have been done already, what took them so long. At least they finally get to change up the costumes, it should be that you can design your own costume for the character. Still something missing, I've been playing these games for awhile now and it seems they are still averaging out to be the same style game play. It's also time to retire the Vintage Chun-li suit as the default suit. I think I enjoyed playing Street fighter Alpha series as well as Third Strike more than these new ones.

That last picture was 100%, grade-A, epic win. This will be the game that gets me interested in "Tekken". I also hope "Super Street Fighter IV" for the 3DS is a launch title.

Can;t wait until Street Fighter X Tekken comes out! I saw on IGN that it's going to take 2 years. Take goodness! still time for MvC 3. oh, and first
