Super Meat Boy is simply put....fantastic. Everything in this game has nothing but charm sprinkled with a little nostaglia. From the amazing soundtrack and tight controls to the wonderfully executed Level Design, this game is a must have. It has enough warp zones, unlockable characters and levels (over 300+ levels!) to keep you entertained and coming back for more. This game "is not" for everyone. It can be ridiculously hard but it's not frustrating to the point where you want to throw your controller across the room. If anything you'll just want to keep playing as long as it takes to get a level done because it's that fun and that addicting! Not only is this game amazingly fun....it's HILARIOUS! It has a story with really funny cutscenes that makes you beg for more. Team Meat not only executed a perfectly well rounded 2D platformer with plenty of nostalgia which pay homage to some of the greatest games of all time but they also created an original experience that doesn't really play like anything else. Last but not least, this game is only $10 from it's originally priced $15 which is a steal in my opinion because of how much content is in this game. So if you have $10 to spend then I suggest you get this game right now over anything else on XBLA or you'll truely be missing out on one of the best 2D platformers I have ever played in my life.
