Super Paper Mario User Review

An incredibly fun, unforgetable adventure

Difficulty:
Very Easy
Time Spent:
20 to 40 Hours
The Bottom Line:
"Highly addictive"
The Paper Mario series make some of the best games on their respective systems. Super Paper Mario on the Wii changes the formula, but does this has good results? Well, lets find out.

GRAPHICS:
The graphics are virtually the same from Paper Mario 2, but again, they are incredibly polished and fun to look at, and you will not get tired of looking at them. When fliping to 3D however, things look very dull and charm-less. 4.5/5

SOUND:
The music isn't as good as its predecessors, and most of the sound effects lack, but some background music (specially the boss themes) can be very good. 3.5/5

GAMEPLAY AND CONTROLS:
Unlike its predecessors, which were turn based RPGs, this one is an Action RPG with a lot of plataforming. You play as Mario, to stop the evil Count Bleck from destroying all worlds. What? Yes, you heard me right, this game dosen't follow the kidnapped princess formula from other Mario games. The story in this game is actually very good. While it is simple in concept, there are some really touching moments, and most of the backstories are quite interesting. As said before, the game is an Action RPG, where you travesse the worlds in 2D, killing enemies and earning levels. It is very fun and fits well the franchise, but I personaly preffer the original turn-based battles. One of the biggest flaws of the game is its difficulty. The game is a total cakewalk, and you will almost not die once. Also, as said before, you can flip in 3D by pressing the A button. It's a neat idea, and can be quite fun, but walking around in 3D with a D-pan is cluky, and the camera is uncontrolable too, but never is too much of a problem. That said, this is a very fun game, and will take about 15 hours or more to complete, and the replay value is high. 4/5

OVERALL:
Super Paper Mario is a very fun game, that despite its flaws, will gain your heart.

The good:
-Very fun
-Great graphics
-This style of RPG-Plataformer fits the franchise
-Lenghty and high replay value

The bad:
-(Personal) The turn-based style was better
-Camera and controls in 3D can be a bit difficult
-Sound is lacking

I realised that Bowser Corrupting had TERRIBLE Quality.Since it was so long it would take alot of space.I shrunk the video to 100 MB (So I could upload it) And it messed up the quality. I'm making these with MUCH better quality. Part 1/3
