I usually don't like playing Paper Mario that much, but the Wii version was simply the best one out of the bunch.

I usually don't like playing Paper Mario that much, but the Wii version was simply the best one out of the bunch. The main reason why I played this game was because Luigi was a playable character. You can play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser. At first you start off with playing as Mario, but he meets up with Peach and Bowser in the early levels of the game. Unfortunately, you can't play as Luigi until you're in level seven, which is near the end of the game. I was a bit disappointed about that. Each character has his or her special moves. Mario can flip into 2-D and 3-D anytime. Peach can use her umbrella to float by the levels. Bowser can breathe fire to blow away his enemies. Luigi can use his super jump, and his regular jumps are a tad higher than the others. Unfortunately, he still skids to a stop, so he can be difficult to control sometimes.
Also, the storyline is immensely strong. It's almost like a fairy tale and a love story combined. In the beginning of the game, a butterfly named Tippi follows Mario where ever he goes. Tippi was in love with an evil guy named Count Bleck before he became sinister. He wanted to destroy and take over the world. In the intro, Bleck sets up a wedding for Bowser and Peach, and forces them to be in love with each other. Luigi came to the rescue to halt the wedding. Then Mario and Luigi are having a conversation (Luigi is doing all the talking and Mario nods). Toad come in and explains something terrible has happened. Then the Mario Bros. went to Bowser's castle and discovered that Bowser was trying to use his sinister plots. Then Bleck attacks Mario, and Luigi became upset about it. After that, Mario enters a strange place, and that's where he met Tippi. After the scene is over, you begin to play the game.
Presentation - 8 It has a strong love story, and it's almost like a fairy tale. The ability to play as Luigi made this game even better than before.
Graphics - 7 The graphics are still basic and colorful, but it looks pretty smooth and good for a Wii game.
Sound - 7 The music is basic, relaxing, and cheerful for the most part.
Game play - 10 Each character has his or her own moves, and the controls are tight and responsive.
Lasting Approval - 7 This game was still a tad too short, and there could of been a two player and online mode. This game will still keep you back coming for more.
Overall 7.8 Game spot Score 8.0 out of 10

Immersive storyline. Great installment in an above-par franchise, though most underrated.

Paper Mario sets foot on yet another adventure, but an entirely new play style doesn't make it as fun.

I realised that Bowser Corrupting had TERRIBLE Quality.Since it was so long it would take alot of space.I shrunk the video to 100 MB (So I could upload it) And it messed up the quality. I'm making these with MUCH better quality. Part 1/3Posted Jan 3, 2008
