First off, let me get this out of the way.

Get this game now.

Now that's out of the way, let me describe how I feel about his game.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.. that name really rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? (try and say that five times fast!) The game starts off with a tutorial, which explains the basic functions of Supersonic, speed, flight, and everything else that needs to be mentioned. When you figure out the basics, you (probably) will head to the Single player.

There are two modes in Single-Player, Tournament and Mini-Games.

Tournament mode is basically a warm-up for Supersonics online, the real meat of the game. Tournament Mode involves you going up against increasingly more difficult opponents; (even though they are still pretty easy,) until the final match, which was brutally difficult for me.

Mini-Games is the least played mode I have played in Supersonic. It's basically a collection of you guessed it, mini-games. The games are fairly limited, but that is more out of the games design, rather than a lack of ideas. Overall, this mode is pretty fun to mess around with for an hour or two, but when you get bored of single-player, you're going to head online and stay there.

The Online Mode is the best thing about this game. The online features: 8 player multiplayer, voice chat, 4 player online co-op (basically four guys on one console playing online), leaderboards, ranked and unranked matches, and youtube support. This is where the game truly shines; blowing people up, scoring the pretty goal, and just having a great time is just a few of the reasons why this game is so much fun.

Overall; I cannot really find a reason to dislike this game. The controls were finicky at first to me, but when time went on I found out how truly ingenious they were. This game is a gem on the PlayStation Network, and I have managed to seduce all my friends to play this game.

I highly recommend anyone with a PS3 to try this game. There is a demo that lets you play for an hour with the full game online, so what do you have to lose?
