There is no bug!!The scores are correct!! Stupid review!!!!

Since I haven't played this game I can't say I've experienced this bug, but looking at the examples the reviewer was giving it seems ther is a pronounced bug that happens every now and again on different modes. The first bug can possibly be explained by the KO/KO'ed/Health ratio, but the rest look like a definite bug present (last man standing especially. If you notice, it says the person who lost had the kill while winner had the death). I was looking forward to this game but after the review will probably just rent it. Thanks for the review Chris Watters.

The score is calculated by the number of times you KO an opponent minus the number of times you're KOed and/or eaten by an alligator and thrown to a bottomless pit. Just because it doesn't straight out show you the negatives of your score, doesn't mean that there is an existing bug. If you pay enough to your battle, you should be able to figure this out. :-)

Simple solution people, TURN OFF TIME. The bug doesnt happen this way.

I won't be buying this game. I was excited about it until I saw the review. I will stick with Smash Bros. I don't wanna deal with those bugs either. Joe

Looks like that this "bug" takes the winner based on Score, calculated by KOs minus KO'ed. If two players have the same Score, the one with most health is choosen. On 5:16, 1P and 2P have the same Score but 1P have more health. The strange part is on 5:36, if this mode is "Last Man Stading" the winner must be choosed by lives left. But looks this mode is to do your best score with limited lives.

It looks fun but I'm not going to buy this. The bugs in this game will drive me crazy especially if I'm fighting with friends and I was supposed to win the match. I'll probably rent it.

I grew up with thw REAL ninja turtles and just seeing these characters like the Utronimator or whatever makes me sick, wheres baxter stockman, beebop, rocksteady, general trag, leatherhead, rat king, anyone from the original cartoon series? Seems like this game was based of the crappy cartoon series that is on now and some of the CGI movie from 07. dissapointing. They seem to be making these games without a care for the original turtle fans.

My god what a horrible bug. Didnt they playtest the game before they launched it? Pathetic.

Makes me think of Smash64 Gameplay-Methodology + SmashGCN graphics/options (generally a good thing in my books, I never liked the SmashWii hyper-arcade style frenetic combat. Too mashy, I think) But the bugs seem to be less entertaining in this game than on the SSB franchise. Too bad. I may pick it up one day, in any case. It doesn't looks like a broken game, and if they are not trying to breed it with a movie or some other bastardization of my childhood memories, I'd be not only happy, but grateful.

@FlamingWafflez Brawl does have directional smashes but not everyone has them. Mario, Luigi and Kirby are examples of ones who have the "tilts" you speak of.

That bug that's in the game though is enough to turn me off from the game but it does look pretty entertaining.

If graphics was their main gripe then maybe the game should have come to XBOX 360 or PS3......It would have been better anyways.......Don't get me wrong If the game sells good for them cus Wii needs more hits, It just would be nice to play a new turtles game instead of rehashes and bad movie tie-in games on other systems..... Personally I think judging from the video the visuals look good, I can imagine how it looks in person...... Here's to hoping they release this on 360 later down the road....

Another great review by Chris. Chris Watters is like the Greg Miller of GameSpot.

I completely disagree with what they say about the visuals. The visuals are no better or worse than Brawl. Some stages are gorgeous if you look in the backgrounds. Once again another review failed to mention "tilts" in the combat system which Brawl did not have. These tilts simply add diagonal attacks to the left, right, up, and down attacks. The character roster is disappointingly smaller than most fans wish, but the characters are well balanced. The online mode is also MUCH better than Brawl. It rarely lags, but the only downside is, is that there is a noticeably worse button delay in online play. That's my addition to this review. :) This is not bad game, and those of you looking for a break from Smash Bros. and wish for a better online system. This is a game for you.
