Tekken is one of those fighting games that has a lot of great concepts, graphics, combos, personality, and anger. Lots and lots of angry people who come back for more. From what I've learned with my lovely time with Tekken 6 is that its so greatly refined from the others. Tekken 2- 4 is what I've played and they all have some new little gimmick. This one is all about the Juggling, Yes, the juggling. Do you have friends? If you do prepare not to talk to them for a while after you pull (arguably) the cheapest juggle moves I've ever seen. Granted you need a lot of skill and time spent learning how your character moves and their large list of combo strings to pull it off but once you do that you will become one of the most disliked people in your group.
Gameplay:
Refined after som many games. Its a lot of fun and you'll most likely enjoy the game until you play the scenario mode. Scenario mode seems a bit lame in my opinon with a cheap beat-em up system that doesn't really jive with the combat controls. The cutscenes are beautiful and the voice acting (although I can't understand about 90% of it) is great-ish. (Agian, understanding other launguages I can't tell if its good acting or not) Button combos start off simple but if you want to beat your foes down with the righteous fury of hte gods then you'll have to more or less study your character and their actions. All combos are pulled off fluidly and there's a good amount of finesse that you need to string them together correctly.
Graphics:
Great, Very awesome graphics. The amount of how you can customize your fighter is neat but its mainly for eye candy. You do gain clothing with special properties(Eg: fire attribute, higher loot drop ect. ect.) but that only come into effect in the afore mentioned Scenario mode which I did most of but ultimitely grew bored of. In most battles there's usually something strange happening in the background. If its not a jet flying over head doing arieal manuvers its a helicopter crashing in the background causing an explosion.
Overall its very fun and if you're not quick on your "feet" you'll end up caught in a very dangerous and sometimes deadly juggle. The addition of large boss fights eg: The heavy mech Dorathy or the final boss (who's name I forget) A giant eygipitan god lizard thing. Its a great game you just need to come in there with prior expierence because the computer may be mercyless but the human controlled fighters are often deadly.

A game that has decided to make it obvious that if a player is button mashing.... perhaps it is under appreciated.
