We head down to the TGS 09 show floor to check out the brawling mode in Tekken 6. Action is guaranteed!
that mode is excellent. Kinda what I missed in Doa 4 to make it complete :) tekken is cool, except those explosions upon impact
I don't really know if I am going to like this, I guess I am more for playing Soul Calibur, But I am forsure going to try this.
The game came out in arcades back in November 2007, so the Vs. portion of the game was pretty much done, unless you want something that will be different from the arcades. This should have came out back in 2008, but, we had to wait on the 360 port...
this is sad. This is the end of tekken era.I will remember the earliest version of tekken it was really a great game
if the tekken people would focus on making the game better for online play, such as tag team or working on the interaction with the maps a little more, instead of doing that pointless side action game. they would of done a lot more better on the graphics and on the games physics ces im tired of seeing little colorful explosions every time i hit someone. not that it needs it ces its still popular and fun but i would like to see a big upgrade in the series ces im not gonna buy any more tekken games in the future if all i see are 3 new moves and outfits
I wonder why they release this game on the xbox360 ?? good game nonetheless probably help with sales
eh....it looks ok. I was kinda expecting more you now, something that sets this one aside from others.
I dont know about this brawling mode yet. But the game looks good and Ill probably get it. Next to Soul Calibur, Tekken is the only fighting series i enjoy.
This mode is complete waste of time - both developers and players. They could have spent more time polishing Vs battles instead of this.
I noticed something weird. The generic fighters (the enemies that aren't bosses) were all about an entire head shorter than the played characters...
Wow this is pretty cool. Ya have to remember this is just a bonus of the series. We play Tekken for the head-to-head fighting not the side games. The Devil Within was great to have on Tekken 5, and not needed. I do have a problem with the crackling and crumbling of the ground based off a NPC fall - over done huh
the targeting system would probably get kinda of annoying when going up aginst a ton of guys and i can already see annoying and head throbing complication with always getting pushed into the water and dying instantly
I really dont like the look of this SC mode anymore, the main reason is the fact it's over the shoulder and as a result I have heard some people say that many of the characters moves are not possible because of this. (I hope this is incorrect) I would have much rather they had made it like tekken 3 force mode where it was practically a side scroller, but at least all the moves where present and it played identically. but anyway, meh, its only a bonus mode and if your buying this game for the SC you have kinda missed the point.... and I must echo the other people sentiments in that why do gamespot employee's always suck at games? I mean seriously that was just embarrasing...
Can't wait to get this and tackle 2 player Force mode (or brawling mode) with Hwoarang and Steve Fox. Jin was ok in Tekken 5 but how much fun is goin thru with him alone
wow, this looks lame. I know they need to add new modes and what not but, seriously? Why not, instead of reashing a Tekken game, make a new fighting game. I think the reason fighting games lost there popularity was that they kept re-hashing the same game but only adding a few new moves, char, etc. I would much rather see a new fighting game built from the ground up with on-line fighting and char custumization and what not than another tick mark added to the end of tekken.
Fighting games need a revolution!.. the only improvements in the last 3 generations are the graphics.
