I really didn't like all the wacky and funny elements in this game. For me, I feel like a fighting game should be about winning and beating the crap out of my opponent... not fighting a girly panda bear or worst, a clumsy fatso. The best Tekken was the 5th. And there is a 7th I hope it'll be a lot more serious!
On the case, it says paid subscription required 4 online multiplayer, thats so stupid. Who on earth would wanna pay that?
@b0sse I see where you are coming from, and I also think that would be great, but isn't that kind of what scenario campaign is? Granted, it doesn't have the same large skill set, but it is still an interesting fully 3d beat em up, and I don't think Namco Bandai wants to change the classic Tekken franchise
As much as I love this game and Tekken in general, I just can't ignore the flaws: the online was too laggy and the scenario mode just sucked, its not "addicting" like he says it is, its just that once you start it, you feel like you HAVE to finish it whether you want to or not(even though it IS the only why to unlock a few characters). If there is a Tekken 7, I hope they'll revamp the story mode, maybe take a few cues from Mortal Kombat 9. But again, even after all of that, I still love this game and series to death \m/
Why 3d fighting games are not in 3d is beyond me... The only difference between old 2d fighting games and these new "3d" games is that the character models are in 3d instead of 2d. The fighting is still in this kinda "side-scrolling" mode. Why not make a 3d fighting game where the entire environment is 3d, so you can move around freely in 3d, and not just go from one side to the other? It's a shame.
Why can't reviews be like this anymore, long, lengthy, and hugely informative, totally getting this game now, found the collectors edition with fight stick for $50
I liked tekken 3 but now i see the sequels didnt bring very much change..they are good but to survive in an era of gaming there should be smthng new smthng spectecular
You don't need to be an amazing gamer to win tekken games....even a beginner can win with the right amount of persistence and knowledge of basic moves and the choice of the right character.
The same things over and over from the era of PS1. I don't say that Tekken 6 is a bad game, not at all, but one would have expected so much more, 12 years after Tekken 3. Some spectacular slow motion scenes, some close ups for example, some real life characters, or other games characters perhaps as a special bonus, and so on.
Ugh, I expected T6 to be way better in graphs and such... Argh :( I thought that in this godly like powers/moves will show up. Since in T5, the ending movies showed such things. I know Ra, is last guy >_> But I expected every player to have like an awesome godly attack or something :P P.S Randolph Ramsay, dude gamers should look awesome in any way, dye your hair and change hair style, for crying out loud. Aren't you american lol

i dont think that street fighter and tekken should team up it just doesnt match. They are too big to team up and i like tekken on its own
dont compare street fighter 4 with tekken lol, street fighter is more comparable with dragon ball and games like that, tekken is more realist fighting game, like virtua fighter and dead or alive, street fighter 4 and tekken are 2 diferent types of fighting games, is the same thing u compare gran turismo with bournout their are 2 diferent types of racing games, someones like more one or another depend of the taste of eatch person
Man TEKKEN is the best fighting out their. wish they added the volly ball and tag mode thouhj wtf!?!?!?
This game is really good. The only thing i dont like is that the gameplay is slow. I am used to fast paced fighting games. I hope in tekken 7 they make it faster. It will make lots of intense battles.
They really need to update a patch for offline ranking. Online play is subject to lag and there is no punishment system for those who leave during promotion/demotion matches.
loading can be fixed:)i installed to hard drive on xbox 360 and it works better no more long loading times try it.it works!:)
@asfand0072006 i agree. Hope fully tekken 7 will be better! @blacksaibot the story line of the tekken games were great up until tekken 6.
