- "Boring"
This is just more of the same old same old. Sure it has a new kind of battle engine then what we have seen in MMORPGs before. So what? This game has very little to no story line. So if you play MMOs just to run around killing things then you might like it. If on the other hand you play for the story and content as well then forget it.
I played Tara in closed beta, open beta, early access, and during launch. I did not feel I got my money's worth and refuse to pay $15/month to play. If TARA was Free to Play or even Buy to Play then I might play it a few times a month just to see if they have added anything new. It is alright for an hour or 2 to go on a killing spree. However, lacking in story makes it more of an action game the an MMORPG. This game is sorely lacking in the RPG department :(
My advice, if you want a good subscription based MMORPG drop $5 or $10 to buy Rift and then pay $15/month for a solid MMO. Otherwise wait for GW2.

Tera is different yet the same. A mixed bag of great, good and poor. Still, worth playing.

Had high hopes for the new combat system...but wasn't prepared for the disappointment :(
