i like the action button setup and the fact that i don't see way too many abilities. Keep it simple and make the abilities feel like their important rather then just overwhelming us. I like this positioning movement and simple interface, this could be really good. I hope they make the game scale on low end systems or there won't be an audience. Most mmo players don't rely on the latest hardware. If this game can play on most hardware and keep heading in the direction it's going it could be great.

Check out our demo of TERA from day two of our live GDC 2011 show!
wow...don't care what anyone says...but I think action combat looks like the right direction for MMOs...this looks really good.
Everyone, including warriors having mana is just ... stupid ? A warrior with mana potions ? For a 2011 MMO this is a pure joke. Make a bloodthirst or rage or anger or focus or at least think of something to put there ...
@TheMobGoblin53 how can you not tell thats sarcasm, he was saying that, because its not the point and click type of game, as a compliment... lol
@Sethnet1022 man, it's suppose to launch in US & EU later this year. imma gonna play it for SURE. been following this game since 2009 (:
I played a priest on the Korean servers, and the game is pretty awesome. Graphics are amazing--it's a very beautiful game--and is really easy on the computer; my 4-year-old machine can easily play it on the highest graphic setting in even the most intense fights. There were a few bugs when I last played it, but they were already coming out with patches for them. The biggest down fall for me was the insanely long fights. Depending on the class and level, a lot of the solo fights can take between 30 seconds and 15 minutes (for one mob). And some of the group boss fights can take hours. The combat system is very well developed, and very addicting to play. But again, the longevity of the fights can make it a bit tedious. But yeah, it's a great game. And I might still be playing it if it wasn't for the fact that I don't speak Korean...
Looks sweet. I hope the world is endearing to players. IMO it's the only way to keep players interested. Telara in Rift looked nice, but felt hollow. It needs character. I hope this game has a captivating lore to go along with nice system they developed. Azeroth has humor and a sense of belonging in the universe of wow. If they get that part of the formula as well as PC development and combat, it will do quite well.
They need to get rid of this guy he insulted the game right from the get go without giving it a chance and he sounds depressed the whole time you can barely hear him if I was that Tera guy I'd been like F U and walked out .
lol this reviewer is such a sh!t ... the look of his face, his voice... The first 30 sec started of ridicules, LIKE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE F@$K A MMO IS you fool (and that's how 90% of the games are these days, only pressing 1 button) In an old republic interview this maggot was quite diffrent. He was like AAH AWSOME and.. stuff.. jezus gamespot where do you find these people
Is it just me...or what? Every time my eyes skim over the name Bluehole Studio...I have to look twice cause my dyslexia kicks in and I see something else like Blowhole...Butthole. I think I would have picked a different name, but that's just me. Regarding the game, I already have Guild Wars, but thanks!
I like the animations, graphics but what bothers me is the fact that we dont see anyone in danger. Now I dont know if this monster is supposed to be dangerous or not(we dont know how equipped these guys are),but overall it looks nice!
looks good, but if thats all it has to offer then ill stick with waiting for gw2 since it has everything this does plus dynamyic quests/events plus no monthly fee
I can't wait ., Hmmm ., tera looks like an ofline game ., like star ocean ., how it will work online ?
Looks good, what I saw anyway, but It seems our Gamespot Editor is a little un-energetic and the quip at the beginning trying to make Tera look good (stereotyping other mmos) almost fell on its face due to his lack of enthusiasm. I know there are bad days but I could just imagine a certain other gamespot editor's zeal and upbeat voice giving the video so much more vibe. Please do realize I'm not trying to slam the host of this video I just think he impacted the game a little negitively... Not that gamers really care... but subconsciously it might just make the difference...
Right now I'm playing Rift and really liking it, but this looks amazing. Gameplay looks awesome and graphics for an MMO are outstanding. Def gonna check this out.
ncie...this game gonna be great..seem action is the main focus...sure its gonna be more then the conventional mmo game i have played except Vindictus.....this game have its own concept...man hope to test this game.... p/s-man i really hate this guy Andrew...he seem uninterested with the game at all n with his lame face...*saying yeah whatever* to the Tera Developer face....=,=
*Sigh* Looking better and better each time I check it out haha Great demo, will be waiting for more news!
