Cant connect to servers?

When i try to connect to a server nothing happens it just says connecting or something tryed hamachi servers and non hamachi servers but it say the same thing but they can connect to my server

When i try to connect it says connecting to then it has the ip and other people r in the server so i know its online but i just cant join i waited for about 20 mins and nothing else happens

I still dont know why it did that but now i can get on servers without any problem

    Maybe the servers are offline?
    Also, due to lack of punctuation it was hard for me to understand the real problem.

    Make sure you have the IP address and port completely accurate.
    Apart from that, I have no idea.

    The servers are probably on a different version or they are down

    If you got it off of steam, and the friend running it uses steam, then it wont work. my friend and i have tried and he cant join me.
