I am having a blast playing this. The part where I fought the
hunters, that whole sequence was so fun. And just fighting in general is a lot of fun. The last Spider-Man game I've played was Spider-Man 3 probably this is why I am having so much fun with this game.

The Amazing Spider-man isn't just a good game it really is alot of fun to play.
It may be a simple game, but it is very entertaining.
So far from what I have played it is worth the $54.04 with tax that I paid for it and with the two free tickets to see the movie in the theater.

wait till u beat it and all the side missions and relize there is nothing to do but swing around for comics.. very boring fast.. i traded mine in the other day.. bummer it was the best game but with no random crimes not worth it

To be honest there isn't much to do in WOS after you beat it either and after beating it twice and getting all the achievements I never felt the need to pop it in again. If the swinging was more advanced I could see there being more fun to be had after you beat it but eh. Honestly very few Spider-man games have had much replay value for me after completing them. Wish I kept WOS though. It had Moon Knight in it and he's one of my favorite marvel characters. Even if they portrayed him badly.

edge of time had an arena mode... i played it from time to time.. to bad i traded that game in for this and then traded this game 7 days after i got it on launch and had beaten it and side missions.. only collected 350 comics

I bought this game new and don't regret it. Web of Shadows ended after the credits (but apparently watching the credits 3 times allows new game+) and what was there to do after Spider-Man 2 and Ultimate Spider-Man? Do you mean to tell me that you play them extensively today? Let's say that you did all the races in Spidey 2, how many times can you save someone from a falling building before you get bored?
Replayability (sp) is also down to the player. I have fun trying to master Web Rushing,
