what's with the big Darkness congestion on Gamespot these last 3-4 days ? I remember the first one , but i don't remember this game being a strongly anticipated game ?
I'll give it a chance, but the first one seemed funner when it was released imo
i am sorry but this looks cheap
It's a shame Starbreeze aren't involved in the sequel,
@Buddy53189 I am a dumb@$$ so I can't argue about that but in this case I think my points are valid and worth mentioning. As a matter of fact I even agreed with the fact that the developers could have done a more aesthetically pleasing job of tracking XP earned. It's the post right below yours. Now breathe, count to 10, and calm down a little. There. Isn't that better?
Seeing how awesome this game is...it will probably end up getting banned here in Australia.
@dab0ne hey dumbas s, it looks retarded to put popping up in the game, it takes away from the experience, like victor said in the other video.
@Un4givingAsault Agreed. There probably could have been a better way of indicating you were earning experience that made it feel less like the point tracking used in online titles like MW3 and BF3. They mentioned in another video that the points earned displayed could possibly be turned off. Actually there is another video right below this one on the home page where one guy asks the dude playing about it and the guy playing says "I'm not sure" and I thought "just pause it and look in the options to see". XD
Man those are intense. Less talking and more killing.
i think whatever skill point you earn should be spent on upgrades and perks, and you should be able to use them in single and multiplayer.
dab0ne, i agree in that sense but believe they could have developed a less intrusive method that does not blur the lines between a single player campaign and arcade rendition of the campaign.
Not being funny but in the future rather than talking at a Pause screen just get the game play showing. :P Most viewers will lose interest in the 1st seconds of a video.
holy **** I thank Im having a heart attack its to awesome

MUST BUY!! :)
dark sector imho was a very underrated game, i thought it was fantastic!! DE were the devs on that one so can't wait for this!! darkness 1 was awesome and this looks like its gonna be just as good!!
Holy $h*t it looks good! New Darkness powers look awesome, as do the brutal violence. Can't wait!
@Un4givingAsault The comment I was addressing mentioned it was stupid in single player which implied it should be a multiplayer feature. As in "why keep points in single player"? The points allow you to see which kills are more effective at obtaining XP for the skill tree. Once the best kills are known they are not as necessary and hopefully can be turned off for purely aesthetic reasons. Initially, however, they are useful and serve a useful purpose. When a game uses XP for upgrades the points popping up absolutely conform to an ideal single player experience because to get the most from the game you want to know the best options for achieving maximum perks and benefits. Most single player campaigns, that use XP, tend to keep a tally of souls, gems, xp, or anything else used for upgrades so you can see where you are as far as your next upgrade is concerned.
@menace420 that's standard issue gameplay from Gamespot.
dab0ne, points popping up does not conform to an ideal single player experience, just ruins the inconceivability of the world
@Buddy53189 Quote: why are points popping up in single player? thtas f ucking stupid I think it's XP for upgrading your abilities in the skills tree found at 12:13 in the video. Not so stupid all of a sudden huh?
the game looks very promising !!!
why are points popping up in single player? thtas f ucking stupid
loading screen on 360 wow
I was not expecting that headshot.. it was quite brutal.
its obvious that he´s using a controller. mouse and keyboard would be much better
the person playing did a horrible job at playing the game
I really quite liked the first one so I'll be getting this.
this preview has driven me from renting this game to possibly buying it when it comes out lol
was gunna pass on this game like mw3.... but it looks real fun.
Looks decent, really pleased to hear that It controls well.
