- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 100 or More Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Masterpiece"
When i first launched the game,i didn't expect this kind of a masterpiece. The gameplay is really good,i spent alot of time enjoying the beautiful nature, the sound of birds, hunting animals, going on adventures...you get the idea.
The game is huge and really epic,if you ever wanted to live a life in medieval times then your dream has come true. You can have your own daily schedule, example:
1.Wake up and get dressed
2.Go to the nearest weapons shop and buy new gear or repair the old one
3.Buy some food
4.Go hunting
And so on...
You even have libraries in Oblivion, you can buy and read books, and there are like over 300 different books in the game.
Buying a house in Oblivion is important too,it provides you a place to sleep and store your items.Don't just use your house for keeping your stuff, tidy it!
Now let's view some flaws shall we ?
(these are the ones that bother me most: )
Some NPC's just act normally when you break into their homes.
And the second flaw i noticed is that guards know if you commit a crime even if they didn't see you! But wait, most of people didn't say this:
Mods!Yes,you read it correctly - mods! There alot of gameplay tweaking mods. And there are ALOT of mods that fix most of the flaws in the game. So,try it: Play the game, make a list of stuff you don't like in it (there will hardly be any i think),and download mods to fix it.
Personally,i think Bethesda did a fantastic job,Oblivion brings roleplaying to a whole new level! If you didn't play the game yet, then go now!
Enjoy your adventure,hero.
