I was kinda hoping the next (this) DLC was going to be about taking down the Thalmor, but this is still cool.

I watched the trailer and it was cool. I just hope this is not the last of DLC for Skyrim because finishing the Civil War quest left me feeling like it was half done.

My hope is that sometime in the late winter they will release another small DLC like Hearthfire that just adds some cool new bits and maybe a couple quests and achievements.

And then! In late spring or summer, BOOM! The final Skyrim DLC, which details the Thalmors' war to tear Skyrim apart from the Empire. Divide and conquer and such. And then, in the final conflict with the Thalmor, there will be a massive battle. Depending on the quests the player has completed, the Dragonborn will join either the Legion or the Stormcloaks in pushing back the elvish armies, gaining help from the Companions, the Dawnguard -or- Volkihar Vampires, and possibly the dumner of Solstheim (whom the player may assist and befriend in the Dragonborn DLC, who knows?).

Perfect way to end Skyrim, I believe. Oh yeah, and moar dragons.

You know I hate you with a passion, right?

Also hoping for Thalmor DLC as well. I want to destroy them.

Unless the lore gets re-transcribed or the Thalmor only get almost destroyed and bide their time until the 9th era, there can't really be any DLC for "wiping them out."

Considering they're the ones that eventually win.

    I beg your pardon.

What about the Elder Scrolls MMO? Isn't the Aldmeri Dominion still intact by then? Thalmor aren't likely to be "defeated" if that's the case.

The MMO is based long before Skyrim, in the First Era.

Would love to see a Highelf dlc-campaign. Thalmor - Tamriël's Nazi's. It still a unfinished chapter. Could be based on Imperial's or Stormcloak sides which one you chose XD

Personally I would like a DLC that handles with the Thalmor and the Dominion, Obviously it would be simply pushing them back and resetting the balance between men and mer.

One of my ALTs is a Thalmor agent working to remove the empire from skyrim and set up the stormcloaks in order to help the Dominion weaken the Empire, Those such as Ancano were simply in the way of me achieveing a particular goal. As with the others, sacrificed for the greater good.

So I would like the option to join the Thalmor sorta in a way kinda like the Civil War quest line. Choose to Join the Dominion or Join the Empire ya know? It would be pretty cool I think.

Yeah, that was a different Aldmeri Dominion.

Also, I'm pretty sure Dragonborn is Skyrim's "Shivering Isles." It's possible that there will be another big one (I would prefer Orsinium, leave the Thalmor for another game), but I would be a bit surprised.

I would like the option to join/help the Thalmor as well. The more alternate conflicting choices, the better. There aren't enough in the game as is imo, and I don't feel you can be truly evil save for joining the Dark Brotherhood (and some don't even consider them evil; more like hitmen), or becoming a Vampire Lord and siding with the Volkihar in Dawnguard.

Anyway, yeah, siding with the Thalmor really would be an awesome choice to implement into a DLC should they ever release a big one involving them.
