 @b10nutz i dont understand the hate/.  they are tiny spears, for tiny peeps.  you can use them as arrows.    Dragonborn is amazing.  the closest thing we will ever get to Bloodmoon 2.0

You see, people thought that spears would be added as a new longer range two-handed weapon. When Bethesda released a "possible future content" video at an expo in February, they showed footage of a character using a spear while swinging and lunging it in the way a spear is supposed to be handled. Saying that Bethesda could not add new perks for spears because of level 81 characters is invalid, since the devs added the ability to reset perk points to reassign them to other or same locations.

 

Not to mention the spears as arrows have mediocre damage and do not travel anywhere near as far as a true arrow. So why would they even bother adding spears in Skyrim if they were not going to put any effort into them?
