Aranea wont equip armor?

I have Aranea as a follower and I have her helping me in a few things, but whenever I give her anything, be it Heavy or Light mail (She'll wear Elven greaves and gauntlets but not mail), she wont equip it. Can anyone tell me if she can equip mail?

Did you give her any head items? Try doing that. Mage robes and hoods go together. For some reason, mage followers won't equip body armor unless you give them a head item too. Try it.

If you still have problems after that, I don't know what to say.
