Bug in largashbur?

So i read that the first time you go there theres supose to be orcs fighting a giant or something, but when i got there there was no one there, no dead bodies, nothing, so i went inside the long house and they are all there in the same place doing nothing and they wont talk to me...
Any way arround this?

You are looking for Atub, who is dressed all in black mage type gear and normally hangs out in up the steps in the lookout post to the right of the main gate. You are correct that there is supposed to be a giant battle, but if you can find atub and start the quest dialogue there shouldn't be an issue.
