Brand new skyrim, Brand new laptop. Game crashes

    I just bought a brand new laptop yesterday along with skyrim and when i got home tonight I have been trying to play it.

    When i start a new game it goes to the loading screen for about 10 seconds and then the game crashes back to the desktop with no error message.

     

    I searched for a solution on google and found people fixed it by changing the properties on their sound and trying to use windowed mode or low detail graphics.  None of these has worked for me.  My laptop is good enough to run the game on ultra.

     

    Can anyone help me out please?

    i assume your game is patched up to 1.6.8? (lastest)

    1090T 6.5Ghz (4 core), 8GB RAM 2133Mhz, Crossfire 6970's OC'd,

    Antec 1200W Power Supply and Asus Thunderbolt Motherboard

    Fresh install, no mods? Try verifying integrity of game cache. (In Steam, right click game > properties > local files tab > verify)
