You could access it by holding down the PS button. Under "Quit Game" would be "Command Console" (Of course, it would only display on compatible games).

Like Firaxis noted, access would be the least problematic for implementing this feature.

    Bump round 2...

I want to keep this Poll alive for roughly a week then I'll close it after linking it (And VT-s Poll on Xbox) to the Bethesda forums.

Most likely a pointless endeavor, but if you don't flirt with the hot girl, you'll never know how far it could have gone......

The ONLY thing I REALLY want... is a proper organization method for chests and various forms of storage containers. It gets annoying with no way to sort all the crap in my chest as I wait for hearthfire to fully setup my home. I don't care so much about the command prompt, because I know the kinds of people who will use it.

Final bump for the poll..... please sign if you haven't. I plan on sending the link for this to Bethesda after today.

Long shot, but why not take it?

I think it would be cool to be able to use it to see how a certain armor may look, what weapon would look best, etc. on a character. Plus having a god mode character to screw around with would be fun.

Hehe, just love how the Xbox board acts like its hopeless.
At least there is SOME enthusiasm here

Why don't you wait till you reach +100 signs for the first option?

I'm taking the second option, but I need to ask...

Why is there no option in the poll to repudiate the desire for command console prompt DLC? I believe I understand the intent (each vote counts as a signature, votes against would essentially lead to signatures cancelling one another out or skewing percentages in awkward fashions), but if you are presenting people with options as to identify how they would like Bethesda to officially modify the product, why is there not an option for indifference to the inclusion of console commands (which is what I would honestly vote for, given the opportunity) or an outright lack of fondness for the notion?

    Really?

I don't know if I'm having a mild misfiring of my synapses or if this even a serious question.... but it seems completely absurd.

The indifferent simply don't bother to sign..... and represent a neutral value, which would be completely pointless data to include.

    Here's hoping to 100!

If the first option gets to 100, simply posting a link to this on Bethesda's forum won't do jack squat. I have already pointed out that this is a very unofficial petition, more like a "is it worth making a real one" poll.

I would like this but... you do know that saying "this is a formal petition" doesn't actually make it a formal petition right?

So I wen through the trouble of creating an official Bethesda account but wasn't able to post a link to this board. I will try to figure out a way to circumvent the "Block" and will mention the poll and its location in the mean time.

    I thank everyone who voted!

Here's to shooting in the dark!

Console commands also have the ability to screw your game up and create additional bugs and issues that are irreversible...so I sincerely doubt this will ever be implemented in the console version of games. Not to mention you can use it for cheating which would have some impact on the trophies/achievement system that Sony and Microsoft care so dearly for.

I asked for ~ Tilde key command on Beth Forums before Skyrim Release.

    They said No.

Even a simple one (so it couldn't be abused) that could allow quest fixing, turning off shadows and just simple stuff to make game playable.

    No...

Honestly, I think they are just to lazy to even put work into making useable for console users.

Look at Two Worlds II version. Its limited, and only to offline, locks trophies out. But it was nice to turn camera shake off, and kill blur effect.

To bad it didn't work in co-op mode where you needed extra FPS.. -_-'

    Would I pay for it?
**** No, its something they should add as a tool. Not something extra they should be charging me for.

    Do I want it?
Hell yes. But it'll likely not happen this Gen (game wise)
