When you are playing Skyrim and it's Lag free all the time for you but then you start lagging like crazy out of no where. Why is that? And I'm talking about with mods included.
I'm fairly new to the who PC and mod thing.

I've found it has something like a memory leak every once in awhile after loading a new area (after a loading screen). I have to alt/tab out to fix it. Could never pinpoint the problem.
Sometimes it's just a matter of what you're around, though. One area/set of textures/objects etc. might be pretty easy for your PC to handle, another might bring it to its knees. Interior areas with lots of water tend to do that to me.

Ok because I'm thinking my laptop can't handle textures as far as i know And my game still lagged without them. Lol

Your CPU is pretty weak. That might be it.

What? The 3630QM's one of the best CPUs you can get on a laptop at the moment.

^ I have an I7-2670QM with a GT 525m and can run textures mods just fine before I overclocked, including the HD texture pack (albeit with the mod that halves the textures). His processor and graphics card is better than mine.

"I could care less" means you care right now.
The proper phrase is "I couldn't care less."

I actually have the same laptop. The only time I experience any lag even on ultra is when I'm unplugged. It's really only meant to play games when plugged in. If you're having problems still, the fault isn't with the laptop unless something is broken.

Plugged in as in when your charging it? Sorry to ask just that I plan to play this game when I get my lenovo y580. So it's preferred to play when charging?

Play it while plugged in and on high performance.
TC, perhaps there is a conflict with your mods. My laptop is weaker than yours and doesn't experience any of those problems.

You know you can change your performance settings to be the same (or very close) when not plugged in as when plugged in, right?

Yeah, but it's never quite as smooth as when it's plugged in.

Definitely. Adjusting the power settings will make a slight difference while unplugged, but if you want the best performance you should have it plugged in.

This may or nay bot work but, install the unofficial skyrim patch as well as the DG and HF versions if you have the dlc,it's possible it's a object issue (lots of dead bandits, etc),, the unofficial patch has some fixes (like making a dead enemy's weapon not a separate object) that can boost performance.
There''s also shadows, but lately i haven't seen them have such high demands as they used to.

I have a slightly worse laptop, and the only place i have problems on ultra is inside, in well lit areas with lots of candles, and in the swamp area near solitude.

I prefer pc games over consoles, because it's too uncomfortable using my ps3 guitar hero guitar as a controller when playing most games. Also i don't like having to sit on the toilet staring at the bathroom ceiling where I put my only hd tv.

Definitely play it while plugged in. Always use unofficial mods, clean your saves, manage mods, etc etc.
First one is a game-changer. I have the exact same laptop that I've used to play Super Scribblenauts recently. It stutters like mad when on battery but works flawlessly plugged in. Even with all the alterations to make it run the same on battery it's never *quite* the same.
Also - do you have problems with your touchpad being jittery for no reason? Random question I know.
