What they need to do is just make a game and have all the expansions/ dlcs coem with it before they bring the game out, why can't it be like the old school games were where when you bought a game it was complete

@Vasteel2k The point of dlc is to add to the gaming experience, duangard (I can't spell it) is basically a new game in its self. A nother point of dlc is, it is impossible to get suggestions for a game if it wasn't realeced, if no one asked for dlc/update that made u able to build a house hearthfire would never have of been made. So dlc is to give (most) gamers what they (cinda) whant to try to make everyone happy, except ps3 owners of course

@Vasteel2k Look, I don't want to start an argument about the gaming industry vs the gamers; so let's try to keep it simple and civilized.Games have evolved, thus so has the industry and its tools. DLCs are the brilliant byproducts of online access. Thanks to them, bugs and glitches that could not be detected prior to mass player testing, can now be fixed after release. DLCs sure have some controversies like when publishers complete a game and already have extra content before release which they choose to charge you extra for; but for the most part they make a complete game, then because it's a successful franchise, they add on to it in the form of 10$ DLCs rather than release micro sequels months later. As a consumer, you always have the choice to purchase or not purchase the product and its extras. While I understand and share some people's frustrations when we the consumers are taken for granted, its too subjective a matter to say all publishers are taking advantage of the situation rather than giving us more. In this case, Skyrim is a game which already gives you way more than your $ value for time you can spend playing it. So accusing them of releasing an incomplete game is hard to back up. It's extra content millions of fans appreciate and no one is forcing you to buy it, nor does not buying it limit your overall experience of playing an already fantastic game.

Having played Skyrim so much (mostly sidemissions I guess :P never got past lvl35 on multiple playthroughs), the only thing that could get me playing AGAIN would be new terrain. And with new terrain, I mean double the current terrain :)

Sure mods also make me return to Skyrim from time to time, but a direct path towards the other lands of Tamriel would make sure I stay. Ingame, that is.. obviously I wouldn't stay in Skyrim if that were the case..
