One of the best video games based on a movie. It is an innovative tie-in for the Francis Ford Coppala classic which is based upon the award winning novel by Mario Puzo. It follows from afar, the classic moments of the cult classic. Your character is a young Italian man who, after witnessing the murder, became an ambitious criminal. After getting in trouble, he is taken under the umbrella of the one-and-only Corleone crime family. But, when the Corleones turf comes under attack from the other crime families, it is up to you to, not only protect Little Italy but forcibly take control of the rest of the families.

When it comes to gameplay, simply phenomenal. The controls are really easy to get used to. The storyline closely follows that of the movie but with you giving light to the transpiring of key events. With it’s highly custimizable character system it truly gives you control over the looks of your mobster. The ranking and upgrade systems makes the skill system realistic.

I think this is frankly one of the best free-roaming adventure games in recent memory. A definite buy for any fan of the movie and a I even recommend it to people who aren’t familiar with the story because it is a definite good time.
