This game is supposed to star the SON (or some other male descendant) of the original "Van Helsing" and not Van Helsing himself. That's partly why the devs chose a different look for the main character.

More like.. when did Van Helsing become a vampire hunter ?... he was just a doctor with little interest in the occult
2 Like Agreed, not feeling this, it's too "childish". Van Helsing is a dark story and setting, not a twilight sparkling in the sun story.
i have been following this for awhile. Would be nice if it was a little more "adult" and not Final fantasyish...
not a fan of this pop open video view sucks and the game looks ehh interesting may check it out.
