The tree climbing one sounds interesting.

Can't really watch them right now because of that stupid stream.

Yeah, the stream stops at night time. Anyone with trouble should be able to watch them then. Depending on your timezone.

Papo & Yo looked like it was similar, did anyone play it?

Played the demo, and had some good puzzles, and good visuals.

Papo & Yo was good, but darker and eerier than the description on the PS Store makes it sound. Worth playing.
There's also The Unfinished Swan, which is less "ICO-like" but is an enjoyable and unique experience.

Bought Journey almost day one. Still haven't played it...really looking forward to it though, seems like a special experience.
Yes, The Unfinished Swan looks good too.
I've been playing the prototypes for The White Birch and Black Lake and the potential for these games is absolutely there. Black Lake is a bit more Zelda-ish then Ico-ish. I'm gonna find a good PC controller because playing them via keyboard is to hard.
I hope to see them both as polished and finished products.

From: najzere | #010I wonder if you'll still run into people if you play Journey now.
You will. Much higher chance of running into a white cloak these days though, but you have to keep in mind that the game got quite a good infusion of new players when the Collector's Edition came out as a physical item.

It really is. Hard to describe in many ways, and I wouldn't want to come close to spoiling anything anyway.

I thought that it was
good, but definitely not on the same level as ICO/SotC, or ThatGameCompany's games.

IMO, two others are Limbo (XBLA/PSN/PC), and, one I recently bought, Dokuro for PSV. It has a similar charm to it as well, although it may be digressing a little from the ICO type games.

There were two developers once that had some production artwork, and they stated it was an ICO style game. I wonder if they'll ever get to produce it...I should find that link again.

Limbo was definitely an atmospheric game and I think every ICO/SotC fan should at least play the demo.

Yup.
I'm reading bad things over the internets that PS4 is soon to be announced, and people are pouncing on that as a sign that The Last Guardian is a PS4 launch title. I hope not!!!
I'm not planning on buying a PS4. In fact I'm pretty sure I won't be. The Last Guardian did hype me to buy a PS3. Fortunately there have been some other good games, but I'm not biting next time. I'm sure it will be a cool game but I want off this ride! In fact, after the Wii U, I won't be buying anymore systems. I'm done.
