How do I reach the vines when I am on the log? They are too high. I am in Skview

You have to raise the water level twice by shooting purple crystals in 2 rooms. The one on the left and the one on the right. The one on the right has a crawlspace on the bottom that leads to a secret room. the one on the left the crystal is located in between the two skulttulas in webs on the bridge. To get to that one just jump onto one of the ropes turn yourself and hop onto the bridge in between the 2 skulltulas.
