From the Nintendo Direct presentation, here is some info on The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD for Wii U.
I loved Wind Waker. Can't wait to get the HD version for Wii U. Ocarina of Time HD would be great too ;)
I still have all the Zelda games from the serie. And i like it to see that they are going futher with this classic game.
I would be very interested in Wind Waker HD if they include the two dungeons they had scrapped due to time constraints from the original game. Also a method of traveling around the world faster than spending a million years on the boat would be much appreciated. Do that and you've got a winner in my book! I personally loved the art style the most in Wind Waker because you could easily read the facial expressions on Link's face. It made it that much more entertaining.
As for the new Zelda they are making, I am happy to hear they are changing the conventions of this long and tired series. The gameplay hasn't really changed at all since Ocarina of Time. I think it would be really awesome if they focused on an open world Zelda like the original for the NES and put less emphasis on finding very specific items that do one specific thing needed to progress in the game. Would also be nice if they focused less on the story because frankly the story in these games is kind of meh and watching friend zone Link stumble around Zelda in Skyward Sword is kind of sad and pathetic.
Looks awesome, but what worries me is that this is going to just be a graphics remake and nothing more. I'd like to see new content. Harder alternate dungeons for example, as they did with Ocarina of Time. Bigger towns with more people to see, more islands to explore so that the ocean isn't just mostly barren. More side quests.
Nintendo have a brilliant opportunity to make Wind Waker even better than it was, but I'm sure it'll just be a prettier version of the exact same game :(
Am I the only Person who didn't like Ocarina or Majora's mask? Seems like it. Dunno what it is, but I just couldn't get into those games.

@kljhkll I think you're jumping the gun. They are still making that "realistic" looking game, this is a seperate project.
Sometimes I think I'm the only one who actually pays attention.
Besdes, what does it matter what the game looks like? "Realism" isn't every thing, nor is it important.
When is the NEW zelda coming out? This is OK but nintendo's kinda slippin! http://youtu.be/5_Fc9yLJ25U This song is proof! & it's friggin funny!!
It´s a good way to get new players into the The Legend of Zelda games and also a good way to keep The Legend of Zelda´s fans entertained, but for collectors it´s horrible, I mean, apart from that this means that for having ``all´´ the games of The Legend of Zelda we´ll have to get this one too, The Wind Waker is quite recent! They should work on Majora´s Mask or others, as they are older and we have been without ``seeing´´ them a long time... Wind Waker? just a few years ago... it was from Game Cube, but Majora´s Mask was for N64 and I think ``active players´´ of these days probably have played Wind Waker, so, playing it again? ok it´s great, but they may be more interested in games that they haven´t played (Majora´s Mask as it´s older), don´t you think so?
@HeroOfTime1994 I agree, they should work on Majora's Mask, it's probably the hardest Zelda game on consoles (not considering Zelda on NES), the formula is different and every part of the world needs to be explore. You also fight bosses out of temples. But I think Nintendo doesn't want to remake this game because it's probably not interesting for new generations. Little kids won't have fun talking to everyone just so they can figure out what to do next. I think this Zelda game is more for adults. But I would still love a remake in HD.
@Redley911 @HeroOfTime1994 I agree that Majora´s Mask is a very ``hard´´ game, talking about its story, its secondary missions, and the temples, ad that it´s probably a game for experienced players, but, Wind Waker can be very boring too talking in terms of ``moving´´ in the map, and, as the same way that children can get bored with a complicatd story like Majora´s Mask´s, they also can get bored with the monotonal-boat mode of travelling. Its true that it´s a very easy game, and that they´ll probably sell a lot with it, but there are also other games in The Legend of Zelda´s games that could be ``remade´´ so, experienced players would like them as they were old games that they (theoretically) haven´t played in a lot of time and children could enjoy them a lot (Example: A link to the Past).
Anyway, I also agree that a remake in HD is great, of course, and that using it with Wind Waker is a very good idea, but, that´s it, HD as Nintendo is using it with the ``puppet design´´, yes, but not puppet designs for the next The Legend of Zelda´s games, please, just keep it realistic... Twilight Pincess design in HD would be... perfect.
@kljhkll @HeroOfTime1994 @Redley911 Which was more ``important´´ of Majora´s Mask is not just the story or controls or whatever. We can see a not-epic story (completly different to Ocarina of Time whic was like ``let´s start The Legend´´), where lots of different stories take place at the same time, and apart from saving Termina, you can investigate and find out the story of each character. That´s what makes Majora´s Mask an esplendid game.
I have to say that in my opinion, they should do that remake for the big screen (TV, I mean), because it´s a game which bosses, seeings and .dungeons are just awesome and making them for 3DS, ok, may be in 3D, but you won´t enjoy those graphics as if you were watching a movie, in your TV. I´ve talked with people who played the Ocarina of Time for 3DS and haven´t played it for the N64, and they said it was very good, nice graphics and story, but that it wasn´t breathtaking. I think that´s what Nintendo shoul look for: produce breathtaking games, and, can games for little screens be breathtaking? They may be pretty good, but not breathtaking. They´ll do it if they use their new technology and new graphics with TV-games.
I don´t have the Hyrule Historia yet, but as I know, Vaati was defeated definetly, so, they can´t use it anymore... theoretically.
And talking about Wind Waker graphics: I think they shoul be centred on realistic graphics. As I said, they shoul do breathtaking games, and you don´t obtain that with those graphics. They should do those games (with Wind Waker graphics) for the smaller screens, for example, 3DS, wich would be amazing. So in comclusion, I think realistic graphics for TV, ``cartoons´´ graphics for small screens (3DS, etc).
@Redley911 Of course I have... too many times probably jajaja.
It´s not just a ``fake´´... a group of fans made it as a petition to Nintendo to develop Majora´s Mask for Wii U, and I have to say that it was pretty awesome.
I´ll put the video here if anyone didn´t watch it before or if you just ant to see it again:
What is interesting is that it looks like they aren't just giving it a resolution bump, but they are remaking it in HD.
