We discuss the shadow world, how the beta is going, and social media with Ragnar Tornquist.
@pawnie (and everyone else who complains that it "tells nothing about the game itself") (PS: That is a silly thing to say! The video does *exactly that*! And if you're too slow on the uptake to extrapolate from what the video gives you...go to the damn website and check it for yourself!!! Are people really this lazy??) The graphics are...perplexing, in my opinion. Excellent, almost photorealistic environments; but the character models look wooden and behave in entirely non-human ways. Bizarre. I suspect EA's hand in rushing this project toward completion and not allowing sufficient time to finish work on elements that need work. Bastards.
Not much to be said about this trailer .... Graphics look good enough to me but don't tell anything about the game itself. Just see the usual zombie-like creatures, mobs with tentacles sprouting from their mouth (also seem to be about everywhere since Blade2) but nothing really telling this apart from other 'classic' stuff :/
I can't believe how anybody can get away with a game like this, in this day an era. The mmorpg genre is really stucked.
these guys put together the sickest trailer for this game about 50 years ago and i was psyched to see more of it. Seeing it now im totally let down and doubt i will even play it.
lately i am hearing this very often " you can be just whatever you wanna be" ... that my firends where a game starts failing ...
I bet funcom will do it again and turn this into a wow copypast... sadly they had such a nice concept with Anarchy Online R.I.P ;-(
This game launches in April 12',so I hope people realize that the devs wont even start polishing animations and graphical details til about March 12' since its the LAST thing you do in an MMO.Thing I LOVE about this game is the THINKING that needs to take place,Its not just a hack 'n slasher.
This video is hitting all of the bullet points that I would like to see in a game, so to say that this sounds very promising is an understatement. If we have large, open areas to explore and this game actually delivers, then I will be sold for quite some time.
Its taking so much time to release this that when they do its going to be completly outdated. Feature wise it doesnt look good at all anyway.
i am really curious about this game but im also worried bout the combat animations. hmm i guess itll be like wow and guild wars but thats not really a bad thing i guess ill wait for the reviews about it. there doing alot of new things but concentrating on new things alot can take away from the central game and they seem to emphising how its in the modern world alot. has me worried kinda
The story, settings, and monster models look awesome, but battle and battle animations look lame. Still on the fence about this one.
"In game browser". Like Modern Setting. Like Actually still really looking forward to this. Along with Old Republic, this will be my first step into MMO territory. I will keep an eye on this.
Looks weird, never heard of this until now. Interesting take on he RPG crap, usually you only see this taking place in medieval times.
I like the idea of being a spirit, in the game world doing missions, and bring a spirit dosen't mean another corpse run, great idea, intereting idea with using the internet within the game, to find stuff out about the world and game characters... this is a pretty interesting idea with your game, looking forward to it coming out, at the end of april... I am a ps3 player, and would love to see a secret world game on the ps3 too, I hope you haven't forgotten about us ps3 players, I won;t be playing the 360 version, when it comes out, cause it's red ringed
