It's the newest trailer for The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom!
DRM means Digital Rights Management and in this case implies an anti hack system incorporated into the game. The DRM for Settlers 7 basically requires you to have an open internet connection in order to play the game and from what I've heard it also creates a few other in-game problems. I really want to play this game. Is the DRM really that bad? Like "Spore" bad? The ironic part is, the measures put in place to counter piracy will end up forcing me to pirate this game.
Fun game, the DRM completely kills it though, it hardly ever works and you're stuck either cracking it or getting randomly disconnected from your single player game. If you like this kind of game I'd suggest Anno 1404.
Digital rights management (DRM) is a generic term for access control technologies that can be used by hardware manufacturers, publishers, copyright holders ... (google knows everything)
I agree with Pell1979. Only boundary is your imagination... and fail DRM. Or is it considered an obstacle? Hmm...
"Will you conquer by wealth/will you conquer by wisdom?" I won't be conquering anytime soon due to Ubisoft DRM
gonna check this out, used to love the old school settler games, not the new ones so much, but this looks good.
