Error 12 !?!

I liked this game until now... my vote went from 9 to 7... error 12 is an absolute outrage, my computer easily exceeds requirements for this game, and I still get this error every once in a while, I just lost an hour of gameplay because I forgot to save this time, it's a shame that Maxis didn't do anything about it, seriously they sucks and I just uninstalled this **** and never going back, what kind of crap is that...
