GOOD: Free-to explore town / Lots of content to keep you busy for hours
BAD: Downloadable content from website cost real money (what a drag)
The Sims 3 is amazing as any other Sims game. There are things in Sims 3 that make it better than the others. In the Sims 3 you can give your Sims different traits, such as "Natural Cook" or "Insane." Which gives you Sim it's own individual personality, and you match your Sim with someone who has at least one of your traits. You can also change the time frame of you Sim's life span. You can make it from being a young adult one day and then an adult for sixty days. There is a little bit more of a selection of clothing and hair styles in Sims 3 than Sims 2. Also in Sims 3, you can walk around the town without loading screens or anything, free-to-explore.
I am a huge Sims fan, I have been play The Sims ever since it first came out in 2000. I have owned every single expansion pack for every Sims game! They are good games, and I'd recommend them to all PC players. When I was playing the Sims 3 one day, I took my character to a job, got a job and then met this girl and dated her and then married her, then found out that she was my boss! It was so funny, I was WooHooing my boss and probably got a generous bonus, if you get what I am saying!!
The gameplay is like any Sim game, unfortunately the controls are frustrating at times. You have to use the arrows on the screen sometimes, because using the arrows on the keyboard sometimes don't work, which annoys me at times. But overall good gameplay. I have never played the stories for The Sims games, so I am not sure if there is even a story in The Sims 3. The sound in the game is slightly better than The Sims 2. Graphics seem to be the same as they always have been, but they are slightly improved from the other games.
This game is addictive, if you're looking for a game that will keep you busy for more than 24 hours, then this is the game for you. I have found myself playing this game nonstop of hours, then I'd realize that I am late for school. That's why I give this game a high replay value. Like I said before, I recommend this to all PC owners! I swear its not a waste of your life playing this game (okay, maybe it is), but check it out.

if you're new to the series, you need to play this game. If you're a veteran you probably already are.
