Oh, please. Heavy Rain's story has all of the depth, maturity, and complexity of Killer Klowns from Outer Space . There's nothing that "went over my head," or anyone else's, I'd imagine. It is exactly what it appears to be: a poorly written and designed video game made by someone who desperately wants to be a filmmaker. There is nothing deep or profound about the game. It is, at best, 10 hours or so of dumb, mindless fun.

And I didn't say a goddamn thing about Lauren's or anyone else's accent. You don't even see the word "accent" in my original post at all, do you? You're putting words into my mouth. The god-awful acting is what led me to believe that David Cage may have meant for Lauren to be a retard, not her accent.

I would say to learn to read for comprehension sometime. You may realize that it's a pretty useful skill to have and can save you from looking like a moron.

He's entitled to his opinion about Heavy Rain. The only thing I found debatable to this response to my original post was saying David Cage desperately wants to be a filmmaker. I guess by that logic, Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman (Lead designers of TWD game, Vanaman also wrote Episode 1) desperately want to be comic book writers. And, the fact that he said HR was poorly designed. Those are 2 claims he would not be able to back up, so debating this guy would have done no use.

We would not be able to convince each other to change our opinions about HR. Since he quoted me, at the time, I made a response that I felt would hit a nerve since he attacked my opinion and it looks like I succeeded.
