I saved doug, is their ANY way to tell kenny that i was a convict?

Sadly no, he will always get mad at you for that. At best you can tell him and Katjaa in episode one that the drug store belonged to your family, and later on the train he'll say that you told them about your family when you didn't have to, and that Katjaa would have been okay with you, so he eases up a bit. If you want a 100% Pro Kenny save you need Carley though.

I want no bromance, but I saved doug anyways because carly was a blackmailing b****. At least doug was friendly, and handy with electronics, carly didnt even know to check the batteries in the radio...

We're told Doug saved Carley as she was escaping the news station. She's a good shot, but couldn't even get a bloody walker off her -ANKLE- for pities sake.

I saved Doug too here is why:
Carley confronts you about your past, and lets you know that if you become a detriment to the group she will come forward with it.
Carley has gotten herself into several messes she couldn't get her self out of. Namely the initial attack Doug saved her from, and she couldn't even put batteries into a radio!
In episode one you have several conflicting issues with Carley, and she knows about your past.
Carley might be a great shot, but you find out early on that gunplay will only attract hordes of these things. Which makes weapons a limited option thus Carly.
Doug is a passive guy and avoids conflict. With Lilly and Larry around, he would be easier to micro manage.
Lastly Doug can do much more than just fix computers. He is a borderline engineer, and he comes into major play and proves his worth throughout episode 2/3

Agreed, I saved Doug for the same reasons. The biggest flag for me was the fact that she knew about my crime and could out me at any time. Doug I felt could be useful to the group (which ironically he felt he wasnt).

Blackmail? When did she ever blackmail anyone? She said she knew Lee's past and would keep it to herself. She outright trusted him and said it didn't really matter so long as he didn't like, you know, start killing group members. If you trust her she's all smiles.
She spends the next episode and half as the only adult on the team who is totally on his side and doesn't demand any kind of show of loyalty from Lee, and, apart from Clementine, is pretty much his biggest fan. Hell, she even starts to fall for Lee in ep 3 before Lilly murders her.
And Carley does plenty to help the group. If you save her, she has the second highest body-count next to Lee.

I personally saved Doug because I was angry that she confronted me about the murder in front of Clementine, that was a super b**** move of her.

Why are people giving this guy a problem with his choice, it is obviously his 2nd playthrough since he said he saved Carly in his original play through. He just wants to see the different branching paths and know if there is anyway to branch it a different way. He never asked for their opinion on who they saved and why or asked for an opinion of his choices...

I don't know about "blackmail" but Carley is pretty useless aside from her trigger skills (I won't get into the fact that we seem to have infinite ammo--I always chose not to shoot whenever the option was presented but so far it hasn't seemed to matter) ..Why the hell is everyone such a huge fan of Carley..?
