I like the part where he talks about internet badasses and online thuggery. Then goes on to mimic the people he talks bad about.

I feel bad about saying this but....it is kind of entertaining.

Oh, so you saw a sort of irony in my defending myself against the fanboys, hm?

Did you find it ironic that the fanboys that felt the need to be rude to critics of the game ended up whining about being picked on?

    Of course you didn't, bandwagon-leaper.

Although the OP comes off as a little ignorant, I do agree with most of his points. It's pretty maddening that the navigation in this game is the way it is. Not helpful. I'm a little more than half way through the game I believe and there aren't many memorable quests or encounters. Everything is so low-keyed. Idk, with the game not being open world and not good enough as a pure action game, it just seems like a bad mix of trying to be both at the same time. The saving grace for this game is exactly what the OP said- great cutscenes and story dialogue.

I just really hate the hubs, they are unnecessarily complex and add in bad quest markers and loading screens and it can really take you out of the game.

I think Roche's path in chapter 2 might just be bad, but the dwarf city seems like it might be worse.

"Yeah, and the over-reactive, yet craven peanut gallery members that arrive to insult participants in these "debates" en masse make the gaming community appear pristine, right?"

Just to let you know, you are getting these kind of responses because you were acting like an overly excitable. I saw you spewing off fanboy, telling people to leave your threads and just you ranting and raving in general so I thought: "Hey, this guy seems like he would be easy to troll"

The funniest part is how you're super butthurt and repost messages you wrote up, also how you think I reported you.

    You did, liar.

When the deletion reports were delivered to me, they mentioned you by name.

I know you're here trying to protect your rep, but I find it EXTRA pathetic that you're on here pretending to not have targeted specific comments that left you extremely burned.

Go on, lie some more, Mufykins.

You'll probably scrub this one, too, since it refers to the other messages.

Or perhaps you just figured out that curious folks can still see the comments by clicking "Message Detail."

Yes, I roast a few Witcher fanboy backsides in the threads, and soon enough, at least one poser says I need to be assaulted physically.

First off, the handful of fanboys that are loyal to the shabbily produced port will get lost in any crowd waiting to buy any CoD game. You will find 200,000 CoD fans before you find a single Witcher 2 fan. A Witcher fanscrub will get his @$$ kicked by at least 100,000 of those CoD fans before they ever come close to having the pleasure of finding me IRL, getting on their knees, and kissing my Nikes.

Again, as I told Malefaction earlier, posers on these Internet message forums like to play tough guy, yet was it not one or two of you snitches that ran to the moderators for my rhetorically kicking the $#%@ out of you in the first place? Was it not the weaklings whining about how mean I was being to the fanboys? Was it not I finding mirth in poking fun at the little fanscrubs attempts to match my wit, becoming frustrated with their inability to do so, and simply reporting the comments that I spanked them with?

Whatever with that "he needs to get his *** kicked" jive, small-fry.

I know you're BSing, you know you're BSing.

Just be very happy that the otherwise lazy admin of Gfaqs respond to the type of mass reporting the Witcher fanboys perpetrated.

Yep, they made it clear when I disputed a deletion that they were defending you all from me.

It must be nice to have the admins' skirts to hide behind, eh, fanboy/snitches.

Of course but theyre not being pompus and self rightous.

Not now, after I spanked their @$$es rhetorically four three days straight. Also, they're aware that the admin are looking to discipline individuals on their behalf, so they play like they weren't on here harassing people.

They're tamed now because they know they'll have to plead to the mods again if they get into it with me.

Not that they won't do this, especially when they get burned in one or two comments and suffer humiliation.

That is why you have more than a few of my comments deleted spcifically, not each and every one. You can't say that I violated the rules in the comments that were deleted specifically. See, as I see it, all of my comments in some way violated the rules, as have many of those directed at me (like the one where the wannabe calls for someone to physically assault me). No, the one that were targeted were those that flip the script on the authors.

For instance, there's this interaction that Yiddo was quick to scrub:

    YiddosRule posted...

Why haven't you gone out to soak up some sunlight yet?

And yes, I explained my intentions in the very comment you referred to earlier, Inspector Clouseau.

    *sigh*

You have the intellectual perception of a snail.

Sit right there not getting any sun, and the thread will be closed soon enough.

I highlight the fact that he's a hypocrite, to which he has no counterpoint, so he simply report the comment as "abusive" and it gets removed. This happened many times during this fracas. It happens because I'm "debating" a group of busy-bodies that have convulsive reactions when an individual criticizes The Witcher 2.

And I tell you, it's very entertaining observing one such as yourself forgiving their thug tactics in order to carp over my defending my right to express a differing opinion. The fanboys got nice and frustrated when I made a point of smashing their limp defenses/denials of the game's many problems. They tried to be flippant, yet got invested in kvetching about conduct as I schooled them in the ways of rhetorical jousting.

Now here you are just pushing aside all that has transpired just to jump on the bandwagon still playing hypocrites.

Go on, call me names like the others and become a hypocrite, too.

Or continue to be "entertained" by a group of simpletons mass reporting one who stood up to their cyberbully tactics.

Let me ask something - Are any of you CDProjekt employees posting here incognito?

I know some producers do this from time to time when they're worried about their game not getting hyped enough.

Some of you are way too invested in defending this game to be mere gamers.

An ankle-biting insect is eager to prove himself to the Witcher 2 fanboys, eh?

You remind me of a character Geralt meets up with in the 2 Chapter, actually.

No, you'll have to stand on a few milk crates to reach the level of "fanboy."

Now you go play The Witcher 2 and stop begging for me to insult you on Gfaqs.

I'm actually going to have to call you out on this one a little bit. First, moderation reports typically do not mention the individuals who marked the message. And second, if mufasah said he did not mark you, then he is telling the truth, if you understand where I'm coming from. With that said, have a nice day.

And second, if mufasah said he did not mark you, then he is telling the truth, if you understand where I'm coming from. With that said, have a nice day.

I disputed a few of the comments that were deleted, and the mod mentioned the individual that reported at least three of my comments: Mufasah1337. There was more than one person reporting me from what I gathered. It was said that one comment of mine got TEN reports ("shirtless Geralt". There are some anonymous individuals reporting me, but I asked the admin why Mufasah1337 was not reported for creating a topic thread to spite me, which is how the subject of reporting me was broached. The mod claimed that I was trolling him and "whining" about my comments being removed. Never mind the fact that Mufasah1337 was a single individual within a mob that attempted to bully me out of the message forum. No, the admin decided to snitch on the chump in order to defend him. I also asked if it all stemmed from the fact that he enjoys "Legend" status, and is thereby forgiven when he violoates rules. That was never answered, however.

As I said, the mods are defending the mob of angry Witcher fans from me outright. Meanwhile, had the mob participants not looked to pick a fight with me like this "Madrox23" character is currently, the situation would not have escalated.

They just could not take any criticism tossed the game's way.

Yeah, they're pretending to be critical of the game now in order to save face, which is typical of weaselly fanboy rabble trying to avoid bans and such. Never mind the CoD, Skyrim, Dead Island critiques they only thought I would get upset over like they had re: Witcher 2. That is what lead to the CoD exchange above that Mufasah1337 tried to scrub out of embarrassment. I school him in CoD's history after he attempted to slam those games thinking I'm a CoD fanboy in the same way he's a Witcher 2 fanboy. He miscalculated, and tried to scrub evidence of the fact. Typical.

It's funny how these Witcher fan[atics] like labeling people as immature, yet they are so quick to start fights that they cannot finish, then complain to the mods when they get burned repeatedly.

    Whatever, man.

You call out no one, and you defend a liar.

    Bye.

First off, that's the wrong comment to single out if you're trying to portray me a someone putting forth my opinion as "fact" like the rest of the deceptive, overly-defensive fans of TW2.

Second, "great for its genre" is a poor excuse for the game bearing glitches, aimless wandering in order to progress the game, and an overall amateurish presentation - FOR THE GENRE, which I'm guessing is "Action/RPG," correct?

Third, the game has already left the top ten for 360 list on Gfaqs. The game just isn't as popular as it could have been. Now, I do not know if this is because many have played the game, experienced the lackluster presentation and gave up on it like I have, or whether the game was ever going to go beyond a fleeting boost after its release. The FACT remains that the word of mouth on The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition for X-Box 360 is barely there, or does not benefit it too much.

And forth - you first, Witcher fan.

It's very interesting how you've found your courage after recognizing that I have limited posting privileges. Typical.

BTW, that was not a "height joke," but an observation of your lack of character.

Since I'm not a hypocrite hack like those that sought to pick fights with me only to cry to the Gfaqs admin, no I will not seek to mention your obvious naivete on matters beyond playing this shoddy RPG. Deriding insults directed towards you without actually issuing any of your own is an interesting, albeit, ever craven tactic upstarts like you use because they lack the intellectual fortitude to play the dozens. I suppose you'll relegate yourself to nagging me like a bored housewife about my actually having the skill to parry and parlay any insult directed at me into a sterling rebuke that will humiliate you and any other whelp. You must've missed it when some others tried that tact three days ago in that "does it get better?" topic thread.

No, I do not have a "notebook of stock insults." Do the fanboys forming mobs have a series of canned pissant whines to those that counter their pathetic attempts at cyberbullying? Do individual like yourself possess literature that teach you to literally beg potential antagonists for attention?

Regarding my being "worked up," again I must stress that taking on scrubs like you in a comments thread is more enjoyable than anything The Witcher 2 offers through its shabby gameplay. You may think you have the determination and the stamina to actually make an impression here, but it'll all be fleeting. It's obvious that my performance prior to your trolling me for insults left an impression on you, and you felt a bit left out of the festivities. It's also apparent that you're seeking approval from...someone here, as you're eager to kiss the @$$es of Witcher fans by portraying a Witcher 2 newbie while encouraging them to continue being my playthings here.

I must say, I'm not looking forward to reading your next comment where you'll claim to not have read this entire rebuke due to its expansiveness. That is a common tactic people like yourself use in order to participate in rhetorical spats without actually being witty enough for an extended match. I dismantle each and every point you thought you had in begging me for insults, and I reveal the stupidity behind your intentions. You sink into a sea of denial, and issue yet another reply for the sake of saving face, along with a few more penny-ante ripostes I yawn at.

Yes, someone "needs therapy." Yes, one needs to "get a life."

I could just as easily predict your counterpoints in the manner you'll try to predict my own.

You are a specimen attempting to reach the heights of the fanboys I've already smacked down. You'll be even more predictable with your lethargic thinking. You're already patting yourself on the back for your hackneyed retorts to things I haven't even posted.

"Blah, blah, I demand better insults from you! Blah, blah, you need a doctor. Blah, blah, fanboys look at me I'm a White knight taking on the big bully - love me, pleeaase!"

Who's the one seeking attention here - Myself, the individual that actually played the game beyond two hours and is defending his right to critique the game's quality; or you, the individual looking to play sycophant to a mob of angry Witcher fanboy snitches?
