The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition) User Review
- Difficulty:
- Easy
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Amazing"
At first, i didn't have any expectation about this game. I just bought it because of the price and the good review. However, the unknown for me developer made me doubt about this game.
Amazing surprise it was. One of the best games I have played this year. Very intriguing, very satisfying story driven game.
Since the opening cut-scene – CGG I was impressed. Not all the game has the same visual compared to the initial scene but I doesn´t matter, the most important thing is the story that drive you through the game.
Pros:
- One of the best stories in a game. Intriguing and interesting.
- One of the best RPG style out there.
- Good length. Not too long, not too short. About 20 hours (rushing).
- Good characters. Very charismatic.
- Replay value because you can try difference choices that led you to different paths.
Cons:
- Very difficult mission selector – sometimes is confusing because you do not know what to do to trigger or complete the mission. Especially for side quests.
- Game evolves slowly during the first two episodes and suddenly has a abrupt ending.
Despite the Cons this is a great game. A must play. Highly recommended. You would not be disappointed. I do recommend to play at least three hours before stopping playing it at first time, that is the time you need to be involved.
Thanks for reading.

One of the 16 (!) possible endings for The Witcher 2. *SPOILERS* I chose Roch's side and spared Letho at the end.Posted May 29, 2011

Just a few human fights in the witcher, quest was working girls as you can see at the end. Sorry for the pauses, although one shows the action nicely. Used Aard sign lots.Posted Dec 23, 2007
