Thief II: The Metal Age User Review
It's dark, too dark. Turn off that light David! This is a sneaky game that allows you to immerse into the world.

- The Bottom Line:
- "Worth playing"
Thief II takes stealth to a whole new gaming level, boasting fantastic light and dark contrast features with great AI and along with funny graphics and voice overs makes this a wonder to play. This is the style of game I would have liked Assassin's Creed to be.
Upon entering the first level, you will need to check your gamma settings as the game could be too dark to even see the GUI (was in my case anyway). After that, you can sneak around, knock guards out and steal jewellery. With the whole stealth aspect of the game being ran beautifully, it really does immerse you inside the game and bring a great experience to the screen.
The graphics in Thief II aren't brilliant, but when you are rummaging around the darkness, killing others silently and focusing on not missing any objects, weapons or any important items, they are more than bearable. But with a great storyline and some well designed levels, Thief II will keep you entertained for hours and is definitely re-playable.

Like its predecessor, one of the best in a stealth FPS. Even after ten years it is still a great game.

This entry of Thief agains shows how fun a fresh change from the usual uses for 1st-person perspectives can be.

Though perhaps not as revolutionary as Thief 1, improvements in Thief II make it as worthwhile to play as the first.
