Spies vs Mercs? **** YES! But I for one also liked the co-op feature of Conviction. The hunter game modes offered some replayability, for those who tried to challenge themselves like using only hand to hand takedowns without ever alerting a guard or causing them to begin searching. And co-op was fun too, was actually more stealth-ish than the single player.

Co-op in Chaos Theory was miles better. A simple game type variant, doesn't make up for everything else.
The biggest issue with co-op in Conviction, is the lack of cooperative gameplay. I can't be the only one that missed boosting up your teammate, pulling your teammate up, propelling your partner over distances, synchronised events, feeding the rope to your teammate dangling on a building, and stunning the light whilst your partner subdues an enemy.
*Sigh*
Ubisoft have let me down again...

Those were so awesome. Hell, even in spies vs mercs, the spies could boost each other up too.

Yes I do miss those co-op moments, where you actually had to rely on your teammate. There were the duel execute moments and busting through doors together, but that hardly makes up for it.
Still, co-op and deniable ops were nice additions that I hope return. I do hope that if co-op comes back they take more notes from chaos theory, but I wont keep my hopes up.

I'm glad Deniable Ops is returning. It made Conviction worthwhile for me. I'm hoping we get more levels like the ones in the Insurgency DLC. Interesting, non-linear environments with lots of shadows. New Orleans was the best.
