Certainly you should be listening to what critics and players have to say but, damn it, listen to the right ones not only the je***! Multiplayer? Bulls***! Diablo 3 says it all "we are not going to delay the release anymore just to adjust smth -mplayer- nobody is going to use anyway"... that is the right way. Sure there are people who want to Mplay but most of us just want the single player for good. So make sure you make the game better than before and THEN you worry about whether or not you include Mplayer features.

Maxwell McGee stops in to check out what's new with Torchlight II and get introduced to the Embermage, Torchlight II's just-revealed fourth class!
@Molten14 .... I never said that. Why would you come here just to defend Blizzard and insult this game? It's made by a small company and by some of the developers who worked on Diablo 1 and 2. Blizzard is not taking control of the illegal trade. They are trying to make a profit. Now idiots like you will go around throwing cash away on that stupid auction house, which has a fee if you want to put anything up for sale on there. Also, FYI I have already played the Diablo 3 beta and there are some random events, but they don't seem to be the same thing as Torchlight's. Anyway, I have already played the beta so I know that they have both gender. I've been following Diablo 3 since it was revealed some years ago. I am excited for both, but I think I'm going to like Torchlight 2 better because they have local co-op, offline single player, no greedy auction house, and developers that actually care about their players. Now, please leave this page. If you think this game is going to fail, then why are you even here?
@gothicman how r they greedy? for taking control of the illegal trading? thatas not greedy, thats genious + diablo 3 will have muchhh moer customization and a much bigger world and more classes probably + random events
@maikeru092983 LOL diablo 3 will totally destroy this, have fun searching for non-existing multiplayer games dude
Wow, including the toolkit should be really interesting what the mod community does with this. Runic games as least sees which way the wind is blowing these days with players especially PC gamers liking to customize. I heard him say he definitely wants it out before turkey day, it'll have some stiff competition. Still a day one buy for only $20.
I think blizzard might go out of business at this rate lol. Thats what happens when you become super greedy. Still can't believe its only gonna be $20. The first torchlight was superb. I will gladly pay that price for a better game than a AAA title.
Very impressed. I would gladly pay even $40 for this. So much content. Way better than that "other" game. Definitely will buy this along with Grim Dawn (which I've already pre-ordered).
@dejo463 I meant that I would like two different online modes. One that requires a persistent connection like an MMO as this helps prevent cheating. The other mode can allow characters which haven't had to always be online. This allows for cheating, but at the same time I understand that people can't always have access to internet so it's more convenient. There are pros and cons to both.
Oh, I just noticed that area was a desert, not snowy. The color was weird. But still, looks cool either way.
It's either cheap or a low price, but not a cheap price, Mr. Schaefer! Signed, N. Itpicker. P.S. Still, $20 (?13,89) is very low for what seems to be an even bigger/better game than the original.
@khimeron13 All classes have male and female versions so you could play as a chick barbarian or whatnot.
this game has everything!!! It's fun, cool story, has dungeons, nice graphics, has pets to help you, is online until 6 players, no mensal fee and only 20 bucks!!!!
Wait, is it like the 1st one where you have to play as a boy or a girl class, or can you be a boy and girl for each class? LOOKS SO AWESOME! SUCK IT BLIZZ!!!
@spyderweiss Personally I prefer persistent online connection as it prevents cheating. Ideally I would like to have the option of both Torchlight 2's mod friendly LAN mode and Diablo 3's persistent online mode. This way I could have the best of both worlds.
Wow when I saw this this already looked too good to be true. Then he mentioned the price again will be around 20 bucks! Have I died and am in gaming heaven?
After hearing about Diablo 3's persistent online connection I've lost all interest in that game. Runic knows how to do it. Day one purchase for me!
Total freedom of play, online, offline, lan, with mods and everything. THIS is how an RPG game is done, unlike someone that have sold their soul to the Diablo...
