to be honest i am bit surprised at the rating it got.. just 6 for such an amazingly fun and awesome game?
This game is soo much fun. I cant believe how good it is, suprise hit of the year for sure!
@presgore who hasn't played better games tho. Think of the people who love transformers. Now they get to assume the role of one. Third-person shooting fans that love army/war shooters might prefer to assume the role of a soldier in SOCOM. But, like you said, this game finally offers transformer fans great graphics and good controls. You can't call transformers run-of-the-mill... I mean... they F-in transform

I bought this game on tuesday, I LOVE IT! I can't stop playing the online multiplayer, and the campaign is really fun. OMEGA SUPREME! Where the heck is the review for this game? Gamespot has been a little slow after E3.
i played the demo and nothing made it stand out. the graphics were great and the controls were solid but everything else felt too run-of-the-mill third person shooter. i've played better games than this
A transformers game that doesn't look awful to play? It's like someone up there actually listens to us.
The demo is awesome and yes the controls are good the best Ive seen by a transformers game. This is the game that turns this franchise around. Cant wait for tuesday Ill be dicing and shooting me some robots.
It looks like from the vids there are plenty of weapons to keep us going too. From Plasma chain guns, Meele weapons that are different per side, and class you play as, to Laser Sniper rifles, EMP nades, Grenade Launchers, Missile turrets, Sentry guns, Assault Rifles, Pistols, Plasma launchers, Shot guns, Ion Blasters and thats just the on foot weapons. It also seems that you as the player will get at least 16 hours out of the SP game due to the fact it has 2 10 mission story lines, as well as at least 12 chars to unlock and play as, plus each Transformer in the SP game may play the same missions but they do different things in each mission you play through so it means you can play the same plot over and over with a different Transformer each time and not have the same mission objectives, or play style. Great game IMHO! I wish more games did this stuff. Just think of how great COD would of been if you got to two SP Misson story sets. (1 SAS, and 1 US Ranger, then got to play as each of the 3 people from those missions and doing different things each time even in the same mission, would of made the game way more fun IMHO!)
Have this pre-ordered at gamestop and though I am still waiting for reviews to make sure it's not a complete bomb...I will know in about 5 minutes when I boot up the demo. From the looks of it the game will be amazing. God those transformation animations are beautiful.
This game is going to hit the fallowing platforms for the new posters: PS3, Xbox360, PC, and Wii, and DS.......... (They need to do a 3DS version now as it has graphics better then the Wii!) I already pre-ordered this for my PS3 from Amazon................ So I just need to wait. Good thing I bought Mod Nation Racers, and After Burner Climax. Going to Pre-Order Medal of Honor today. Then I'm done for the year until next year.

I went off multiplayer games after playing mw, mw2 and bfbc2 to death. Hopefully this will be just the thing i need to get back into it. !!!
I've been waiting for a way to cope with the fact that there is no star wars battlefront 3, this might be it.
We need tht PS3 Demo to be released... I actually went to my friends house just to try it on his 360......an he lives an hour from where I live...... Not kool High Moon Studios. P.S. It was ruff but worth the walk I luv the game. '''''>_.>
@ L3X18999 Sorry i agreed with you until you said all hail megatron.....thumbs down. But yea since Unreal Championship 2 I haven't found any multiplayer fps better then that, and transformers make me feel right at home.

Where did you hear this game only has 8 maps? That would be like 1 map per mode. From what I have seen there are at least 10 MP maps in the full game. Unless you site a source I'm calling BS on that one.
My only concern about this game is how it's only shipping with 8 multiplayer maps. Really worries me that Activision is making High Moon hold out on a bunch of stuff just so they can charge $15 for weak content that should've been included from the get go. Other then that, this demo is a blast and has really surprised me.
Well this game^^ Crysis 2, Red Faction Armageddon, Killzone 3, and Halo Reach, and Crackdown 2. Gamers on all platforms have nothing to fear this year for great shooter games. In fact with this line up arleady in the pipe I dare say that Shooter fans have never had more to look forward to no matter what platform they own............ I know all but the 2 Xbox360 games I mentioned are going to hit my PS3 for sure. But Halo Reach and Crackdown 2 will be great for Xbox fans as well. I just hope EA brings the goods at E3 with a new Merc game that fixes all the problems their first outing on current platforms had. This game looks solid. Now it's time for other companies to get up and prove they can beat this game when it comes to content.
The fact that this demo is out only for the Xbox is infuriating and a let down... Why must they have exclusive demos!?
As far as I can tell in the Demo they only have two classes........... Soldier, and Scout are the only ones you can play as in the Demo, the full game has the jets, and truck dudes as well on top of this gameplay here. You can also only get to level 3 in the demo........... IMHO It's great that they gave so much of the MP game, but when you compare it to the full list. 4 classes Over 2 8 MP game modes, over 2 most likly about 20 maps just for each gametype........ 3 co-op modes, Autobot, Decepticon, and Escalation about 40 chars to choose from in the full game. (Number not confirmed mind you!) About 20 weapons to choose from as well............ (Number also not confirmed, as it looks like there are about 30 from my count, but the meele weapons for each class are different too) This game might have more gameplay and fun factor then most Shooters combined..... In fact one of the things that makes me mad about current shooters is they have a short story mode, and then while they offer online it only has like 3-4 modes of play. This game will cost the same price of the other games and have 2 SP games, plus about 8 MP modes, and 3 co-op modes...... There is more bang for you buck here then I have seen in a long time. Not sense UT3 has a game had this much in it content wise...... And UT3 shipped with 120 maps, across 5 game modes, and by the end of the last patch had added 20 more maps and 3 new game modes.
