Tribes was my all time favorite FPS, and I th ought they closed the franchise. I am sooooooooooo happy right now.

Whether an IP existed before another has no bearing on whether a new game is a copy of a previous one. Tribes 2 did not look much like Section 8 or Halo, but Tribes: Ascend does appear to look very much like them. It's easy to see based on looks alone why anyone might state T:A appears to be copying those two games and they'd be right to say so.

Before people start to point fingers at this game and say it is a copy cat, please do a bit of research. The Tribes series came out before Halo and Section 8.
*dies from goose bump overdose* Finally they are bringing Tribes back! I loved that game series. the battles were so intense! The movement liberating! I hope it comes out on pc.
looks fast paced and fun, and a little different than other shooters right now (the flying around aspect) ill have to keep my eye on it.
