So I am a strategy gamer-lite (meaning I kind of suck at these games), and right now this particular mission is kicking my butt. I am struggling really hard to make money on this island, all I can think to do is build sugar farms everywhere and try to export rum but I struggle to break even and then when the game throws a bunch of events at me toward the end that require some big dollars I'm stuck. Should I bump up my tourism industry, or just try to diversify my exports more? (which I don't know what to diversify in, fish?) Just wondering if anybody had any tips on a good way to tackle this one, it's the first campaign mission that has really had me stumped...

I just finished it, and it really was a bear of a mission. It's all about sugar and tourism, but I had to throw in some logging/lumber/furniture at the end just to speed it up. Once you set up your framework, all you can really do is wait it out and accumulate funds.
