I can't believe they gave this game a 7.0 that is a shame

I'll give some respect for EA to not release this as a standalone game.

I was all hyped up for this until I found out not only did they scrap the qualifying mode but they don't have all the licensed teams and players? Its ironic that they included the "story of qualifying" but didn't actually include the qualifying. How can they justify this being 1800 Ms points? This almost costs half as much as FIFA 12 right now, but let me ask you, do you consider this HALF a game?

@srbija_do_jaja It sounds like rubbish.  Seriously not all the licensed teams and players ?  No qualifying mode ?  LOL

Obviously as a reviewer of games in general and not a enthusiastic football fan you see no value in the expedition mode. I feel it has equal merit to a qualifying game mode with the added strategy and difficulty of team building from real players, the non-licencing of names is annoying though something you failed to mention in your review in great detail. I can only speak for myself but I am enjoying expedition, the gameplay is noticeably different from the core fifa 12 with a few small things (speed of play, shooting) that I guess you would only notice if you played regularly.

I don't see why expedition mode is getting so much hate, you have to play the same team multiple times and beating them multiple times leads to greater team building rewards. Sounds like a career mode but with transfers streamlined into it, and a bit of novelty with the strategising which teams you beat in what order. If I had a problem with having to play football matches more than once I wouldn't buy FIFA. Still way overpriced though.

At least they're not buttering it up as a full game this time.

Class game. Must get this once I get FIFA 12 and an Xbox :P

I'm confused here... To me expedition mode actually looks quite nice. Something which takes patience to complete and building a decent team is rewarding.. not to mention the fact you can actually make your own team and kit from scratch. With regards to the argument of "it's repetitive" that's just a bit odd.. The entire game of Fifa is repetitive - it's football! (I love it by the way I'm not bashing it :P). How is playing expedition mode game after game all that different than playing career mode game after game? I dunno.. If you ask me it looks like a decent buy, especially considering EA usually release it as a standalone title :? For once on here I'll actually stick up for EA! Ha!

Good review, but I think that a 3.0 score is more deserving of new commentary and a mode like ultimate team? I dont think many FIFA fans would disagree, especially since you can play a Euro cup in the original game, and most people just craft a perfect internation side in UT anyway. For 1800 MSP, this is way overpriced. Let's hope all this free time they have to spend on this means that FIFA 13 will be an improvement.

The game looks legit. I'm from Bulgaria and the only team that we haven't lost to is Gamespot FC (which doesn't exist).

EA I love your games for the most part, but I will never pay you for the extra stuff. Too much money grabbing.

A qualifying mode just like in Road to the World Cup would've made it worth purchasing

@arazmanaz it doesn't have all the players and teams though LOL ... at least not the licensing for them all ... sad

What a RIP OFF no qualifying, no ability to choose your own squad instead your given players you dont want to play for your country and players that wont be playing in the finals just the tournament and Expedition mode is a pointless mode, not worth the money....I WANT MY MONEY BACK
