This game was ace. When I first turned it on, I didn't know what to expect. The game starts with gentle slap of action with ace graphics. You instantly like Drake; he's a great character to play as because his personality is strong. The story builds and as you go further it builds on a treasure hunt that is a roller-coaster ride of fun.
The fact that he does want to run away and not continue his quest is a twist in the predictable story. I do like the details about Nathan Drake, and found it really interesting to hear about famous travellers. After playing the game I went and researched the history in the games and the myths because the game is based on real fact and legends. Although he does get the girl in the end it is pretty similar. Yet he doesn't make off with the treasure in the end. You may when first playing the game that it is a rip off of Tomb Raider story and the game engine.
The only problem with the game is that there is a massive lack of guns; if there was a mix of weapons it would be a lot better. The graphics are really great, and cannot be faulted. Sully and Drake have a strong relationship that carries on throughout the game. This carries on through the game, and I feel that because you like the characters so much, because they are funny and easygoing, you enjoy the game more than if they were normal American gun slinging pirates.
The game is very very long too, which is better than Tomb Raider, which has about 7 long levels nowadays. The chapters are long with checkpoints and there are many of them.
I like the idea how when he is climbing, which is fun, simple, and adrenaline-pumping to perform, the parts of the ruins, pillars and buildings snap and break away. He hurts himself a lot and it's funny to see him fall in pain!
In conclusion, it is a fantastic game. The game play is difficult enough to be enjoy, but it can be put in different modes to enjoy different levels of struggle. All parameters are great, and I cannot wait for more games like this. Can definitely play over and over again.

Sort of like a flawed diamond; from afar it looks great, but up close you can see some of the problems.
